Meh, I still maintain that his point is maintained to a degree : P
Mexico is quite happy according to the survey, and as I interpret what Rommel said, the main thing is that they'd rather stay in Mexico, not that the USA is less happy than Mexico. And as Mexico is quite happy, it's not that much of a stretch to say they'd rather stay there if they could.
This is especially true when you consider that I would imagine illegal immigration is a last resort. If they could stay in Mexico, I'm sure they would.
And seeing as Happiness is subjective anyway, to a Mexican the American way of life might not be that happy at all, so for Mexicans, Mexico could very well be a happier place to live.

Exactly, and I'm sure the TC can find a way to feel proud of the USA. At the same time, if he wants to not be proud of where he lives, how about doing something for the community? Build a soup kitchen, or donate toys.

Meh apologies. Should have read the site properly.
This map does, to my knowledge, actually deal with happiness or ' subjective Well being'( scroll down a bit to see it) and whilst the US does beat Mexico in that map, it does show that Mexico is still quite a happy place, almost equal to that of the UK in fact.
There's a big list at the bottom that gives a precise ranking and points to each nation. Mexico scores 230, UK 237, and the US 247. Not that much a difference, so Romell's initial comment does still stand. Mexico is quite a happy place.
That's from a university so I 'd guess it's more credible than the last one at any rate.
its funny that they make Canada look smaller then it actualy is,

Germany has a higher living standard than us
they're in the top three largest economies right side with Japan and the US, and people don't have to worry as often about social security.
They pay enormous amounts of taxes into an overbearing government system.
Living in Germany ISN'T a bad thing--
If you like the government to babysit you and take away your money and decide for you where in the economy it gets distributed, then yeah, Germany is wonderful.

I'm no longer proud to be an American. Why should I? Even if I do get a wonderful high paying job, a beautiful and loving wife and kids, and a two story house with a white picket fence, I'll be screwed over once I retire, there won't be any social security.
"It's no big deal, it's not my generations problem."
How many times do you think political big wigs have thought this? It sickens me.
Our war on "terrorism" is a total lie as well. Is there any country out there who's government doesn't lie to it's people constantly?
This all sounds like your run-of-the-mill rant by some fed up teen, and for the most part, it is but can anyone show me a good side to the USA? All I can see is reasons to move to a small island where the most important news of the day is the weather. So far Grand Cayman is calling my name...
Can anyone give me more then the bullshit the media feeds us?
You don't have a clue what you're talking about. You're pretending like you see past the screen of evil, and can see the lies for what they are! STICK IT TO THE MAN, BRO! Only problem is, you're still a gullible idiot, you've just been lied to by someone else.
The whole lying media thing is ridiculous. It's like the hot new fad to act like you're some well-informed rebel. The media doesn't "feed" you anything. Yes, they're sensational. Yes, they concentrate their attention in the wrong places. But that does not mean they're lying to you. I challenge you to find one major thing in the TV news or newpapers, etc, that is false, excluding minor clerical errors and the like.
The government as well. They do not tell outright falsehoods on a day-to-day basis, no matter how corrupt you wish they were, and if they do, it is because they believe it is for the good of the US. During the Vietnam War, Lyndon Johnson lied to the American people about the events of the war, because he didn't want them to see how stretched the Army was and how close we were to losing. Like I said-- point out something major that the evil commie gov'nt has lied about to you.
The war on terrorism is not false. We're fighting for democracy in the Middle East, against armed, violent soldiers who kill people every day. That is called terrorism, and we are fighting it. I don't think the war is right, but it is real.
You're so wrapped up in your little cocoon of smug self-rightousness that you can;t see what's really happening. LOOK AROUND.

Map that shows apaprently Mexico is happier than the US
That's not a map of absolute happiness, it's a map of efficiency of converting natural resources into happy.
The US has a lower score, but they've also got a much larger amount of natural resources per capita.

Regarding the canada being of diffrent sizes on various maps: All 2d maps of the world inhently scew and distort the actual size of various things, as a 2d plane does not correspond to a 3d plane. Both maps there are incorrect. Anywho, canada is slightly bigger than the US, but like said, a good chunk of it is tundra.
Anywho, america isnt that bad. Lord knows I cant get any good american channels without a cable box up here.

I'm not proud of this country either..
Which is why I don't even consider myself AmeriKKKan, to me that's like insulting myself.
AmeriKKKa has NEVER had an era of peace. There has ALWAYS been some sort of conflict going on, and most often a hostile one.
Our education systems are teaching us, subliminally, that war, racism, and violence is OK.
Where are the morals?
The only paradise you'll find in AmeriKKKa is Hawai'i and we had that shit annexed. And it's an island chain down by the equator by South America. We are continually destroying its environment and wildlife. Hundreds, if not thousands, of species of plants and animals have gone extinct or endangered since the arrival of the white man to the islands.
So, fuck AmeriKKKa

I don't see how in the hell the pilot's statement proves that 9-11 was an inside job. If anything, it would prove precisely that no one expected it. The pilot was in such shock at being dispatched to catch a hijacked plane that he wasn't even sure if he being given real orders to pursue. If you wanted to build you case, you could have brought up warnings and intel that were overlooked or ignored, but this is the dumbest point you could have made.
Ok, what you wrote in this next paragraph is a bit jumbled. I can only guess at what you actually meant, so I'm going to respond to what I think your points are
......also the building where made to take a plane and still be standing and if not what happen to the Pillars that hold it up right?
The towers didn't have pillars. The towers were supported by the exterior of the building. This is why the windows on the towers were so narrow, because they had to be placed in between the steel network that supported the building.
Did they melt, ithink not since we would'eve seen fire and there was no fire only a Blast before the plane hit ,
Where do you think all of that smoke came from? There was a massive fire in the building from burning jet fuel. There was massive amounts of smoke. People jumped several hundred feet to their deaths to escape the heat of the fire.
and then the plan hit , and down it fell at free fall speed like a controlled demolition
Have you ever seen footage from the live broadcast that day? The towers didn't just fall, they took over half an hour to fall. As for the appearance of a controlled demolition, the building itself was designed to collapse in on itself in case of structural failure so that it didn't take out a sizable amount of Manhattan. Both of these can be found in interviews with the Japanese architect who designed the towers that were recorded before they fell. We can therefore assume he was no coerced by the great conspiracy, unless of course Doc Brown is really behind the whole thing!
.and even worse noone talks about Building 7 it wasn't even hit and it collapsed.
Actually, they have, extensively. The collapse of the towers released energy equivalent to 1/10 of a Hiroshima bomb and cause ground movement equivalent to a small Earthquake. Both of these factors damaged the foundation of many buildings around the site. Furthermore, it caused a fire in an electrical substation under building 7, which weakened the building's center causing it to collapse in the matter it did.
The Patriot Act is even worse it denies our bill of rights! All you need is to call some one a terrorist and they would take them away to prison , no jury , no lawyer , no trail.[One of our rights btw for those that dont know]
Habeas Corpus is still in tact, and the Supreme Court has ruled it even applies to people in Gitmo.
it also lets the government spy on you !tap your phone , look at you personal information.
It unfortunately does, and it is a load that they can do it. Still, I haven't heard of anyone disappearing in the middle of the night, so I'm not that worried. Hopefully, our next president will put an end to this nonsense.
