Reason 4 Sequencer Automation Issue

For some reason, I cannot get the automation of any knobs to record onto their own track. I put the transport into record ready, begin recording, play some notes, and any (and all) automation gets saved in one lane...
It appears to be a glitch of some sort because sometimes it works fine.
Anyone else have this problem?

As far as I know pitch bend and mod wheel automation is supposed to do that. You tried to record pitch bend automation in an automation lane (Or at least, it looks like you did judging by the screenshot) and it went into the note lane, right? Then I guess the other times when it worked "just fine" were the times you were automating other knobs, like the combinator rotaries, etc. So I assume it's when you automated pitch bend and mod wheel, that happened
Or I might be horribly wrong
Can't know much from lookin' at a bit of text and a screenshot ;)

Ah, OK. That's true. DO make it do otherwise is a trick I was doing and not even aware of...
Or something..
