Knux... yours could do with some polish. I left a review on your first song, I'll get around to the other one soon. I don't think it's collab quality yet, but a bit more work on it, and you may have something, the orchestral feel isn't coming through yet.

I've had a bit of a block these last couple of days, trouble putting my ideas to music, so I'm going to leave a medley alone for now and work on some straight sonic themed originals. I've got a concept for a series of original sonic themes. I just put down a layout of levels I'd imagine if a "Sonic the Hedgehog 4" had been made for the genesis. So I think I'll go with that, and pick the best out of that for the collab. I also want to do the act 1 boss from sonic 3 and knuckles, but I really have no idea what I'll end up doing...

Yeah, sorry to be bitchy about it, all these things take time, original composition is tricky, it took me 5 years of theory to learn how to compose classical, and I'm still kinda sucky at it, and alot of these electronic genres, I've learnt from practice and listening to other musicians.
You'll have some decent songs for this collab, once it's finished, is my bet.

Double post, I know. But with good reason, I've got my first track for the collab up. Desert Run Zone
It's a slow piece, fitting into a sonic game somewhere near the end, before the final stage, I would imagine.
If you want me to rate it, I would say, it's not really too outstanding, but it's something, probably in between 3.5 and 4 out of 5. I don't know, I don't like to rate my own stuff.

That song was a solid 4 stars WB, but it doesn't loop too well, thats about the only flaw I see.

I'll redo the remix as well, I am getting very interested in orchestra tunes, its alot easier to run with than what I've been doing recently, I just need a string vst. I have a Cello, which is awesome, and the brass vst I downloaded covers a very wide variety of horns.
I promise you, my mentor, I will make a better song.

I'm having a major issue here, I finished redoing Protoman's Requiem, but when I imported it, the brass was strangely silenced, like it was muted, both brasses used. First, WB, I want you to listen to it, if you think its good as it is, then I'll keep it, but if not, help me here, the brass was mysteriously silenced.

The same people that make the brass vst also make a decent string vst.
The muted brass... I have had that issue with the strings, and I think it always happened when I had multiple copies of the VST working on one song. You can get around this by exporting the .wav of the loop and then working with the next loop. I have no idea why this happens or how this fixes the issue, but I think that might be a way around your problem. If not, then I'm not sure... It's weird.

I think I might edit the other one a bit to get it looping a bit better. This one loops better, but I'm going to adjust the mix a bit.

I found a new song to remix. The S3&K act 2 boss. It has a great tune but its hard to get the timing on a keyboards, it also requires a pattern thats hard to skick to repeatatively. I'll get it though.

It's based around e minor (I think it's e minor), if that helps. It's all chord based, a lot of arpeggios and that sort of thing, but as far as rhythms go, it's either on the beat, or on the off beat. Chuck a kick on every beat while you're filling the song out to help get your bearings with the rhythm and meter.

I fixed the delays, it should sound better now.
I'm gonna work on Fan Art and comics, because I see no one else doing it.
I already have some FYIs.
