I think it's split in half with Muslims and Buddist.

If it's " perfectly fine " then we wouldn't someone like shaggy posting, also there's a difference between decent and perfectly fine.

And with that post folks, the flame wars have begun!
Anyway, back on topic, I'd have to say that the education system is not that great, it is ok I'm sure, but not a strong point. Then there is the matter of the government at this moment in time, but I'm hoping it will work itself out in a year or two after this current lame duck administration is removed. Other than that, I have no qualms with living here.

The united states strength is it's production and hegemony, it's weakness is it's culture has attracted the negative attention of well to do nations that think changes in US policy to their own are even remotely possible and ascertainable whether it be socialism, anarchism, communism, or a fundamental islamic theocracy.

actually no offence but the USA is the most successful country in environmental protections, cina is worst, and canada is famous for its lumbering...(us is actually the leader of the world in the amount it has decreased emissions, and the number of protective acts.

We have the best colleges, the most productive workers, one of the highest educational attainment rates in the world, we have the most generous population in terms of donations to charity.
We've been responsible for basically every modern breakthrough in science and medicine in modern history. We're the world's most ethnically diverse major nation, we have the worlds most popular culture in terms of music, movies, and other media. We're the world's oldest democracy, the only country in history to do things like rebuild countries we defeated in war free of charge, allowed them to have democracies, and ask for nothing but plots of land to bury our dead soldiers in return.
There's a lot to envy about the US. If people from other countries actually acknowledged how blessed the US is, it would damage their own pride. A lot of people in the world are taught in their society to hate the US, and apply double standards and enormous amounts of hypocrisy in any imaginable aspect in order to bash the US to make them feel better about their country by contrast.
See, the US is so much better in so many areas, that people have to lie to themselves and think ill of the US to fortify their own identity and maintain pride. That's why it's common to hear bullshit form Canadians and Brits who will say "Omg liek Americunts are so ignorant and arrogant, but you're really shitty... your dumb and fat lol" and when they are told to back up their claims, they can't. When facts are applied to the argument, they can't accept them and freak out.
The US is the best country in the world. We have problems, but our problems are exaggerated by people both inside our country and outside of their country. Everybody hates the most powerful person in the picture, people would hate the US and think ill of the US even if the US was perfect, because it's human nature to hate the person who is more powerful than you.

kids, i dont want to be harsh, im new in newgrounds (but been seeing material from here since 2002 ;) )
and the frist thing i saw in the forum, is this...
i dont like some things about the united states, im not saying that is awful, its a beautiful land, with good people...
what i dont think is correct is the simple thing about your leaders, im from the very south of the world. a lost country called Chile (yes, like the spicy little food) and don´t think about us as mexicans or other related countries, i have friends in north america, and all say the same thing, that your leaders want to control the world, thats the point of all this, i dont like that some people of your land, feels like they were superior to us...
i have the idea that all the world should be one...
but not by "your" methods and beliefs...
pd: if someone is coming to chile send me a PM i will guide you trough the town of Santiago XD
From The Weird Butt Of The World i Came To End In This Place... Nice...XD!

You're only validating what I'm saying.
A clip from a comedy show does not accurately depict the intelligence of a country. 1) You don't know if they are even actors or not 2) Even if those people are truly that stupid, they don't represent the entire country. You could find that amount of stupid people anywhere, and make a video out of it, take it out of context, and make it appear to stupid people that those few people being interviewed are an accurate sample of the country they belong to.
Those aren't facts, that's bullshit propaganda.
Put things in context, apply ACTUAL facts, and Americans are one of the most educated people in the world.

In tertiary education and junior secondary, but not senior secondary.
Oh and... Canadians have a lower IQ than Americans.
Also, Americans have the best colleges in the world in academic ranking, Canada's best is in 23rd place.
And... compare educational attainment from the US and other countries, concerning the British specifically.

What sucks is that I provided a source by a Canadian.
Look at the picture and compare it with page 76 on this document.

Tertiary = college. Which means Canadians have a higher education attainment rate in college than US citizens.
Oh and... Canadians have a lower IQ than Americans.
First of all. IQ does not necessarily equal intelligence, it really is more representative of potential for intelligence. Secondly... 1 IQ point. WHOOPDEE FUCKING DOO.

LOL dude, chill out with the hostilities. Remember that the TC said don't spam. I wrote that as a joke...
Obviously Americans are among the smartest people in the world. More money gets funneled into education. Let's argue about how the money gets funneled, not whether Americans are smart or not.

I can't find any sources later than 2005 on educational attainment, so I guess I'll just have to assume that the United States has taken the lead.
The 2007 OECD report has no statistics for Canada.

Well, it's my country, and I feel naturally inclined to love it. We've gotten a bad rap recently thanks to a lot of dropped balls over the past eight years, but overall I think the U.S. is still the foremost place I'd want to live in the world.
