I do understand that it is complicated, but here, I'll give you an example: I have an item, should it be converted into a movieclip or button? after that, what about a slot which it should go after being clicked? what instance should it have?
after those, the actionscript provided should be easier. Afterall, I am good at decoding it :3
Btw, Idk how it is possible for u to insert coding into this game i'm making, srry.

I will type the coding, tell you what to do with it, you copy and paste it, and plug it in. =)

2nd of all: Ok, you should probably give the instance name item_1 item_2 item_3 and so on and so on. You should make the item "appear" in your inventory when you click on it and make it item_1. You would make it a button if I do believe.

I don't know the piece of coding this instance, but I will =)

Really? Hmm... so what do yall say? Collab Room Escape game? Or collab Point n click? Well, With my actionscripting, mooguys art, SupraAddicts Flash skills, and possibly some more peoples voice acting or something, we could create a really cool Point n click game. Oh yeah! =)

We have to keep this updated almost every day though, so try to fit it in to your "busy" schedule.

As a test one, we could simply take pictures of a really scary place like a hospital's basement, (Which I work in one actually) and make easy 4 line codings to where you just click a part of the picture, and it takes you to the next picture which might be a door opening or something. Oh well, it is something to talk about.

ok, cool. i can trace over the pics and make them all stylized-like. But, a word of the wise: no voice acting, please. unless it's really good and it has to do with comedy.

You could be a voice actor or come up with ideas.

I think we should make a funny point n click room escape game first, where it is simple, but has good graphics. It could be based off of the game I made here.

I rarely find escape games out of NG.Maybe Miniclip but i usually dont go anywhere else.
You know whats funny,the first escape game i played was Slacker on some site and guess what,Slacker,brought me to NG!

Sweet, your in. But you are missing A TON of games if you rarely find any pointn click ones outside of NG. You should really try some on The List I made on the first page here. They are probably the best out of the bunch, as well as a lot from a company called Got Mail.

yeah, yw. okay, so we are gonna make a point n click game (basicly all buttons, btw...i think) and it's gonna be like "Day of the Tenticle" and "Monkey Island" just, different graphics? or what? Well, i think we should all come up with a storyline and then see which is the best. From there, probably play it by ear. (puzzles, graphics, blaaaaaaa) Just don't plan on a sequal unless we want a cliffhanger ending. If the game goes well, sequal time.

THE POINT N CLICK GAME STORYLINE #1

Ok, so here is the storyline for our FIRST EVER collab point n click/Room Escape Game. this will be a funny one, and will be a start for the clubs work. Anyone can participate, and we already have 3 in out of about 11 members.

:::PLOT::: (Unlike The Demented Cartoon Movie)

(Words fade in to the screen with seriosus music) You wake up.... (Fade out)

(Fade In) You are in a dark room in a bed... (Fade Out)

(Fade In) You have no idea how you got.... (DONT FADE OUT) No wait... actually you do know where you are,(Fade Out)

(Fade In) At least you think you do... after that crazy party....(Fade Out)

(Fade In) But, that reall has nothing to do with the story what so ever. (Fade Out)

(Fade In) The REAL point is that you are STARVING and need to get out of your room ro get some juicy Pancakes, muffins, and waffles for breakfast.(Fade Out)

(Fade In Room, we will work on the design, must be drawn well, i will help in making it.)

SO then the player has to open the door, but it is locked! NO WAI!

This is where the Room escape part comes in. And the game will end when the player opens up the door.

Then in the second episode he will walk through the house and discover someone has stolen all his pancakes musffins and waffles... but that is another episode.

Seriousness requires a long sequence of complex words. Save the short ones for the humor moment, "(Fade In) You have no idea how you got.... (DONT FADE OUT) No wait... actually you do "
I suggest something along the lines of... You wake up, long after the sun's warm rays were smothered by the chill of the harsh darkness. :P

then, I have the perfect sound for the transition from noir, to humor
