I need to know if I need a new power supply.
My configuration is:
AMD Athlon x2 4400+
2 GiB DDR2~800mhz
2x DVD
1x SATA2 ~300, 160GiB
Motherboard: Asus m2n-mx
CRT screen 17"( has got his own powerpoint )
D-Link airplus 520+ (network card)
video onboard / sound onboard
I need to know ( I now have a 350 watt power supply ) because I've got here a X1950 PRO videocard, but I dont know if the powe supply delivers enough. Is there a progam to meassure it?
Thanks..

There isn't really a program to measure your power usage, but 480 Watts should do fine for pretty much any computer.

When there's not enough power your system won't even start. It's as simple as that.

Most modern video cards will simply operate in a low power mode if your power supply isn't sufficent. The card won't be nearly as fast or have all of the features it otherwise would have.
