Both the Bamboo and the Bamboo Fun have driver downloads for XP. So yes, they will work on XP.

Santa Jesus brought me a Bamboo for Christmas, and I have a brand new Vista. It worked just fine, I didn't even need the CD ;)

And it's a beautiful tool.

nooo, bamboo is one range of wacom tablets, like the graphire range, the intuos range and the cintiq range... I have the bamboo fun and it says, quite clearly, wacom on the box in large letters...

Well it's a faulty tablet, they aren't all like that...

No, it's not his settings. I have a tablet laptop and I have the exact same problem sometimes. You just have to deal with it and get good at using Ctrl + Z, if it doesn't constantly do it. If it does then the only way to do something is return it, but I think you could send it to the store and they should send a new one, instead of having you drive there.

GET A NORMAL BAMBOO, NOT ONE OR FUN, GET THE NORMAL!! It's the cheapest and the best. I'm on XP using it, wacoms are designed for XP, but some work with Vista.

So like, at first I was like "wuts a domane lol!11" but then I was like "lol i has un!111111111"

Well I would recommend to download the newest driver, I have a Wacom Bamboo (not the fun version) and the zoom button didn't work, until I installed the newest driver

I really like my wacom bamboo tablet. It's a lot easier to do the FBF style of animating that most people love to see.
But if you want to draw with basic shapes and straight lines, it might be best to use the mouse for that part. So the mouse doesn't need to be completely removed as an option for drawing in flash.

The one is crap i agree, but the fun is the best choice unless you're on a serious budget. It comes bundled with software which seperately is worth more than the package with the tablet included (although if you already have photoshop then half the software's useless. I've also heard of a faulty batch of normal bamboos which buzzed because the transformer in the unit mucked up. Finally, that smooth white finish with the glowy touch ring is oh so sexy B-) (It looks heaps better in real lfe than on the pics).

Just click the sig, idiot.
