Reallu excellent and inspiring stuff. This is what I aim to draw like in the future. You'd be the ideal partner to work with for the cartoon I have planned. May I ask how and where you learned your craft. I need to know what's a good art course to take in order to draw and paint reallistically. Thanks. Keep on posting your stuff.
as always, thanks for the comments.
my advice to you is to take all of the figure drawing classes you can. those classes, without a doubt, are what helped me the most. there's nothing harder to draw than the human figure, so once you get that down, you got it made in the shade. and experiment as much as you can. even when you find a medium you like (paints, charcoal, pens, etc) force yourself to try something new. same thing goes for techniques for rendering, linework, etc. then, you can combine all those techniques and make awesome, exciting stuff without pigeon-holing yourself into a single style (anime, for example)! and sketch a lot! i come across a lot of cool new ideas to represent stuff by accident, just by doodling. so that's my lecture.
if you ever want to collaborate on a toon, just let me know. i'm always open to cool projects!
