Dead- No, right now it's the WORLD'S #1 flash site.
Deserted- NO too much traffic, and if starts, Ng will have adds.
Under New Management- Probably, Tom won't be running the site, wade or any of the coders will.

Forums- New memes. New mods. By 2018. it'll probably be a flash itsself.
