yes NGers, you DO have the ability to do good shit. aint it great?
i would donate, but i am twelve, and i don't exactly dave a credit card, people. honestly, tom, you have good intentions, but couldn't've you find a way to get the poor little american kids in on the act?
I have a few suggestions for you.
-Go around your town and collect recyclable soft drink cans every day (Gas stations and highways would be good places to find some) and then cash in the recycle cans and collect the dough and donate them to whatever charitable cause that you can find. You don't HAVE to give the money to Tom.
-If you have any clothing, toys, books or anything you don't use anymore you can donate them to charity centers such as the Salvation Army. Try talking to your parents and ask them where you can drop off your hand-me-downs that can benefit other people.
-Try setting up recycling in your house if you don't do so already. You can recycle paper, plastic, some metals, cardboard and linen. The benefits are endless: Less pollution, less resource extraction, longer lasting environment peace, less waste and more! Ask your parents if you can do so and tell her all the benefits from this link: http://www.recycling-revolution.com/recy cling-benefits.html
-If there is any volunteer work needed in your area, try applying for some work and help people like cleaning up parks and highways, going to a retirement home and keeping old folks company, anything you enjoy when it comes to helping out.
If we truly desire a better world, we better start working hard for one.
