This is very noble indeed, but why not fund cars running on compresssed air instead? There is an invention out for five years known as the C.A.T( Compressed Air Technology). It has no unhealthy byproducts( well no, duh, the byproduct is air.), it's cheap, and it takes only a few minutes to power up (unlike electric cars that have to be powered overnight. The way it works is instead of having gas ignite and push the pistons in the motor down, it uses the compressed air to push the pistons down, thus moving the wheels of the car. It's selling well in Mexico and India so it would be a splendid idea to invest into it now and start supporting it. Anyway, that's just my opinion. If you make a lot of money or get fame for support, please give some credit to me. Thank you for your time.

I Can't Imagine Any Cars Selling Well In Mexico? Seeing As How Half The Population Lives In Poverty & Families Live Off Of Less Than $4 A Day. The Only Heads With Vehicles In Mexico Are Government Officials, Drug Dealers, & Rebel Groups (Which Don't Account For Much). Sorry, Not Bashing Anything & I Agree, Quite Noble.

Electric cars sound like a great idea, but unless all of your country's power comes from wind or water power, it doesn't actually help the environment at all if the electricity is from coal or oil power plants. Petrol engines are very efficient, there's no reason not to use them.

Electric cars being great is just another untrue rumour spread around by hippies.

Until there are better solutions, coal and Oil Plants give off pollution thats pretty much inevitable at this point. At least with cars an option.. So having pollution from these plants is alot less than having pollution from the plants and cars combined.
And if Plants ever fully convert to water or wind power, at least electric cars will be able to take advantage of it.
