Pokemon does need to fuck off and die. Here's another used-to-be franchise; the Maro Party sreies. I thought Mario Party 1 for the N64 was decent, but it started getting annoying around the 3rd one.

Mario Party 4 was probably the only good one. The fifth was okay. I've sort of played the first three, and they were alright, but the fourth was the best and everyone knows it.

I suppose the problem with Sonic is that the traditional high-speed gameplay of a Sonic game doesn't work well in three dimensions. It's good when all the rings and em=nemies are on a single plane, and missing rings means that you're too high or too low to get them, but in three dimensions, when you're almost always about to run into an enemy, and it's easy to be just a little too far right or left to get the rings, it just doesn't work.

And I seriously think that Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network have long since done the network equivalent of "jumping the shark", and need to either get back on track with the older, more inspired shows which didn't treat the audience as if they had just turned three, or they should perhaps just die off and let their old legacies of good shows be.

I was born in 1991 and around a few mounths away from Sonic The Hedgehog...I think. His earlier days ruled, though do not put down his modern ones to much it is not like they made Sonic use a gun in any of the modern games...well I said sonic.

I only really became aware of Mario Party at 4, when my younger brother started to play it. He later got 5 and 6, but by 6, yeah, it was kinda dead. The only good one that you ever play, is the first one that you play. It probably shouldn't "die", but Nintendo should probably only release one, or at most two, Mario Party games for each system.

Information, people. A franchise should only be considered dead when all or next to none of its games/shows/whatever are not entertaining anymore.

What really needs to be put down for good are the horrible Disney movie sequels.

It's their pattern. Make a good movie, then slaughter it with a laughably bad sequel. At least put some effort into the movie if you're making it simply as a cheap marketing ploy.
