Because America are rich, but cheap bastards.
How do you think they got so rich so fast?
Supply and Demand?

It came out a month or so, I believe.I like also their OST's in Animes. It's good to hear. Also I like YUI's songs and Utada Hikaru's songs.
Those are good.
I am usually directed towards full versions of anime openings and endings.
My favorites are
Asterisk by Orange Range (First opening of Bleach)
Rewrite by Asian Kung fu Generation (Second opening of FullMetal Alchemist)
After Dark by Asian Kung fu Generation (Latest opening of Bleach)
Last Dinosaur by The Pillows (one of many Fooly Cooly themes)
Little Busters by The Pillows (another one of many Fooly Cooly themes)
Colors of the Heart by UVERworld (latest openinf of Blood+)
Ichirino Hana by High and Mighty Color (Third opening of Bleach)
Shiki no Uta by Minmi (Ending to Samurai Champloo)
and Fukai Mori by Do as infinity aka D-A-I (Second ending to Inuyasha)
I have others, but these are my favorites.
I completely disagree with most of those who posted in this thread.
What you think is IRRELEVANT.
Yeah, there's some fantastic Japanese bands. Here are a few I like that you might be into:
The Boredoms (I've seen these live, they were amazing).
Mono (Seen these aswell, also amazing).
Boris.
Anadorei.
Mad Capsule Markets.
The Stalin.
Yum! Yum! Orange.
OOIOO.
I happen to own Utada Hikaru's greatest hits CD. It's fucking awesome, and I jizz every time I listen to it. Even though it happens to be the single more pop sounding music in the history of forever.
