The reason it seemed good, but turned shitty is it was one punctuated joke after the next completly irrelevant to the plot. Needless to say, people got fed up with it.

Chicken scene was good the first time, then it just ruined the episode wasting about 5 minutes of pointless fighting. Along with other repeated and stolen jokes.

That my friends, is Family Guy's list of jokes, along with random pairings of phrases that have nothing to do with the plot, which is already gay.

If you need a show like that, some like SouthPark, some like the Simpsons, but both have actual writing staffs that centralizes around a plot instead of random clips.
