lol

So that means that anything I say from here forward in defense of myself will result in a ban, I guess.

Sometimes the best defense is to just quietly walk away from the issue. :)

To tell you the truth I hate that song, and most of all songs like it.

I hated highschool dances, even though I went to every single one of them. I hated the whole scene, and I hated the music, but I had to go because I was expected to.

When we left, I usually got drunk and high, and immediately listed to something heavy to wash the trendy Prom music out of my head.

Case in point.

(not peaceful)

Just thought I'd let you into my world a little bit.

i would just like to take this moment to remind everyone that I never have banned a single person in this forum other than blatant and complete spammers.

I encourage debating and if you want to use insults, go right ahead, but be creative at least. The only thing I try to do in this forum is lock/delete excess threads.

I personally think it would be extremely hypocritical for me to ban / stop people from flaming each other.

So yeah don't blame me if you get banned.

Well, there was the time he refused to help Cellar with something that required a moderator's help, but I forget what.

Hey did you see that argument where cellardoor was all like "canadians don't drink better stronger beer than us, that's a myth, YOU'RE ALL FILTHY BRAINWASHED PRO-CANADIAN LIARS" and then someone awesome who I admire produced a chart that clearly showed canadians weren't sissy-ass light beer sucklers and he never replied?

First off, he's not my alt, just thought I'd point that out.

Secondly, he's right. I could provide probably 10 times more links to back up what he said but I'll probably get banned for it, because I've already had my posts deleted in this thread for including links to unrelated topics. If you want to see it for yourself, I'll compile a list if I have to persuade you.

Funny that you emphasize an argument about beer in the whole context of political arguments that are probably a lot more relevant to the world than beer.

Even then, if you want to put that in a ratio, I've disproved you (and JoS) in quite a lot more debates than that the ONE single thing you have on me concerning beer, which I admit defeat in.

Honestly I only remember debating with you in recent weeks and I never remember finishing a single debate, i.e. I had the last reply every time so maybe I need to check them again or something.

In any case, you are pretty prone to insulting people, seriously :p
Bah I guess we can't talk about this in here now because of the whole ominous ban menace so whatever.

Having the last reply doesn't override the fact that most of what you said was proved wrong.

Even in the beer issue, you kind of ignored that although you eventually wound up proving the most popular beers in Canada have a bit more alcohol than the most popular American beers, at the beginning I proved you wrong in beer awards, what you claimed about Quebec beer, and so forth. American beer was the best in the world in the rankings that both you and I provided. You got confused about it because there were brands named "Russian river", that you didn't care to research and realize they were actually American companies.

In any case, you are pretty prone to insulting people, seriously :p

And you're not?

I'll send you PMs with links.

I know.
Live and learn.

Hey btw there's this new really awesome Quebec beer called "snorau" it's delicious even though the guys over at the beer rating site don't like it ( well the 3 guys who reviewed it ).

In any case, you are pretty prone to insulting people, seriously :p

I admit I am, but I can't recall a single debate involving you and other people that didn't have you turn to insults and lots of them.
I think it's funny, but the other mods probably don't, so whatever.

I mostly argue for fun and to learn, and to me, a good flaming is damn entertaining.

Meh I quit drinking again.

I was drinking recently, but then I quit again. It's cyclical. I go months without drinking, then I'll drink for a few weeks, try some new stuff, then realize that I'm getting too drunk, too often.

So I'm uninterested in beer, for now.

Hey, you coulda had it much worse.

We always had country songs at our dances.

I freaking hated all the country music.

Not to show my age/wisdom or anything, but one of my favorite school dance songs was Oh what a night by someone I can't remember...think they were a one-hit wonder...

Nominations that I passed on I felt that either the field was unsatisfactory or that I hadn't seen enough evidence to warrant voting for anyone person to declare them the most outstanding poster of that field. Though it should be taken with a grain of salt seeing as how I haven't lurked for that long, forget, and might have accidentally overlooked some threads.

One thing that annoyed me was the lack of votes for Proteas, he's definitely an underrated poster and has made some great posts that are overlooked. This should mean a lot considering it's coming from me, a guy with completely different views and was banned by the power-tripping nutcase for a week on an occasion.

D2KVirus...sorry buddy but using Wikipedia to try and trump a direct quote from the Constitution! :)

As there was no direct quote from the constitution in the post I was responding to, does this mean Mason has nullified his vote by actually having no integrity in his reasoning when casting the vote?

You are correct D2K in saying that there was not direct quote in the post you quoted Wikipedia. However, when your source and argument was discredited by a direct quote from the Constitution you continued to make an argument based upon your Wikipedia quote. I did not cast my vote because of the first use of Wikipedia...but rather your following post.

I understand that you were trying to say that my analysis was in error because "the average Wikipedia editor hadn't caught it" (my paraphrase); but you were still trying to use a discredited source to critique the document from which all of US is supposedly based upon.

Link to your post since your memory seems a little dim.

And then here...

Thank you for validating the reasoning behind my vote! :)

One day cellar, you'll learn that just because you say something, it doesn't mean everyone who says something else is lying.

Someday you'll learn that I don't say someone is a liar unless I can prove they are. Which I did with you.

In fact, it's because they aren't talking crap like you are so content to do, apart from when you're ducking the fact you're wrong and have been proven so.

Now you're lying again, see you got proved wrong every single time we argued about gun control, in basically every single aspect of the debate. You know it, I know it, but you continued to argue points you knew were false, even after it was made completely obvious that you were wrong.

Let's start with that Homogeneous Murdering Latino Mass Theory of yours, shall we?

You know, the discussion which you got proved wrong in and caught lying?

All documented here.

Ever wonder why you're nomionated for all the negative awards, and I'm not?

Because the people who nominated me happen to be people like you, who are bitter about getting proved wrong and caught lying so often, about so many things.
