I need much flash help
(i am a n00b)

-how do you get weapens and sound in flash

There are no such things as weapons in flash. Flash is not a game maker - it has many uses and is far more abstract than that.

Please be more specific.

No i mean, if you want to make a movie
you need caracter, weapens, buildings
how do you get those things?

To get weapons draw them with the tools.

You can also copy+paste pictures from websites into flash in the same way you would any other program. Insert a new layer below layer 1, make it a guide layer (right click - guide). Once you've the pic, click on it, then click on 'modify','bitmap' then 'trace' and press ok. On layer 1, draw around the pic with a pencil or something, then delete the original pic. Then you can edit the outline of the pic to you heart's content.

Errm, yeah, except there is no need to trace something if you are gonna use it as a guide and draw over it.

I like to make a flash movie:

a homeless man sitting in a carton box
it's raining, the carton box is getting wet,
the homeless man crawls in a dustbin
then a red ferrari drives up with 2 black man (with sunglasses)
they shoot the homeless man till he's dead...

that's the beginning from what i'm going to make
can some make some picture's for me with al those things
that person get into the credits.

You must draw them yourself. Once you make an object that looks like you want it, press F8 and select "Movie Clip," then give a title to your object. Once you do this, you can access it from your library at any time. (To view the library, pres Ctrl + L.) You can also have as many instances of the same object/movie clip on your stage as you want.

Your just sick. It's not that I hate all vio;ent movies, but shooting a hobo for no reason is just plain wierd. You should make it so that the black guys try to shoot him, but then the hobo shoots them in their sunglasses. Serves them right for trying to be 'gangstas' (arf arf!)

You could use spreadsheets for the weapons, just search thel in the BBS or on Google you'll find them. And for the hobo and the other drawings I would search pictures and outline them or ask a friend that's a good drawer to do them for you. But if you wanna take all the credit for your movie you just have to draw it yourself.

Well, that's not great.

The pen/brush tools are a bit rubbish in Flash, tbh (unless you have a tablet, I suppose). I normally use shapes to make characters.

One artist I often work with uses Illustrator, he scans in sketches and then traces over them.
