You seem to be naive at understanding that the PS3 is just as good as the Xbox 360. The controller is just like the original PS2 controller with a few add ons, it is true that the SIXAXIS controller has no rumble but that is going to be put in the Dualshock 3. The PS2 controller is one of the better ones out there and changing it completely would of been a little dumb as it wouldn't be good for playing PS1 or PS2 games and the Playstation crowd feels better using a controller they've been using before the PS3.
Games. Yes there are less of them but we forget the PS3 has only been out a year and the games are actually better than expected. Resistance was one of the first PS3 games and to be honest it's just another FPS but the online gameplay is very good indeed. Motorstorm showed what the PS3 could do with physics and just watching you crash is fun even though you're 8 places behind. Warhawk is by far a great game, it's an only online multiplayer game where you are a soldier in a battlefield. You can be put in a jet with a lot of weaponry and the best part is dodging locked on missiles by performing moves in the air. Assassin's Creed is a multi platform game but people do find it better to play on the PS3, I have no comment on this as I own only the PS3 version. Maybe because it was originally a PS3 exclusive and designed to play it on there. The Eye of Judgement is complicated at first but after a few games with your friends or online it is quite enjoyable, nonetheless it's an interactive card game.
Doesn't stop there, more games are coming like Metal Gear Solid 4 (and Metal Gear Solid online), Not sure if Blacksite is an exclusive but that is looking good. Killzone 2 is something people laugh at when you predict it to be good but it may just surprise us. Don't forget the games you can buy in the online store such as FlOw which tests out the motion sensors, Tekken 5 Online which is just like Tekken 5 but with people all across the world. Games coming soon such as pain looks like great fun where you can sling a human across the game world and perform stunts or dick about. Everyday shooter is something I've not looked into but it look fantastic. The GT HD Concept 2.0 Racing game kills some time and you can try to rank up on the leaderboards.
Also you can download classic games such as the old (when they were good) Crash Bandicoot games, Syphon Filter and WipEout. You can download extra content for games. Also That Home thing is looking amazing, this is sony's attempt at trying out the Achievement system but with trophies and will look better as it's not something people play games for.
I will admit that Resistance is very bad at keeping a connection when you go online but it was one of the first PS3 online games and things have got better such as warhawk which seems to never give up unless of course your internet connection goes down from the router.
If you bring up the cost then yes you are right it is expensive for a games console but very cheap for something that can play games, DVDs, Blue-Rays and have enough space to last. Also it is very cheap compared to an Xbox 360 when you look at the entire cost of getting everything. At least I don't have to pay a subscription to pay online.
Anyone feel free to reply to this in a decent way and tell me their opinion rather than saying something sucks and deciding that everyone should think that. It is all a matter of what games you like to play not what has the most games.
