It was goodish. Plenty of blood and lots of morbidly funny parts. Just too much singing.

Anybody who goes to see Sweeney Todd not realizing it's a musicial is a moron.
It's an adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's work, he did the music and lyrics for such Broadway plays as Into The Woods and Sunday In The Park With George. He's fucking famous for his work.

Would you consider it a horror or a comedy then?
Sweeney Todd is supposed to be a musical comedy. If its anything shorter, then it's shit.
