go to channel settings of the sound you want to be louder, press the "misc" bare, you will see a "vol" knob. you can also use the "Fruity blood overdrive" effect in the mixer. hope this helps ;)

Brickwall compression, Hard Limiting, normalization (if the sound isn't 100% vol) etc

Generally if you have to make a sound louder, then it is already loud enough volume wise. Try compression instead of continuing to turn up the volume knob.

Right right, you don't want to have to learn the hard way from making songs clip and fuzz. Quiet is always better than headbashingly loud (when it's uncontrolled, that is)

When I first got FL studio, I used to turn the mastercontroller lever on FL all the way up to 120% or whatever for every song. Maybe that's why my ears always hurt after listening to them....

Or just turn the knob on beside the file. Or maybe add Fruity balance or hit the sampler thing and click MISC and turn the volume up even more. Or for master volume turn up the switch which is next to the time and beat bars.

i actually later experimented a bit with this and found fruity blood overdrive + a customised compressor to be pretty handy on the master fx channel! i figured blood overdrive would kill my song but after compressing it it was actually louder, deeper and without messing up anything. i use fl 5 tho, i hear the new 7 has some better features regarding this..

Add the Fruity Send effect to the sound/synth you want and turn it up in the box.
