Well loving and in love are different things. I'm with you on a lot of stuff. I thought I was in love with someone. Hell, I thought I was in love 2 times, but when I found out they were all jerks and that suddenly grew tired of me, the kicked me aside. One for pot, the other just didn't really like me, he was just using me. My last boyfriend was just not giving me enough time and tired of me too.
Now I know this is from a girls view, but the premis is the same. There's nothing wrong with being in love at 16, but it is very very unlikely. I've seen stranger things happen, but I just want to give you the heads up that maybe you're reading too much into this. The deeper you say your feelings are, the more it'll hurt if you two split up (IF not WHEN).
All I'm saying is that you've got a long while to fall in love, so don't limit yourself to the one person. As teenagers we see others as black and white. You have the same interests in music, shows, and other stuff but adults see things differently. Finding a love when you're older has a lot more to do with what shows and movies you like. It has to do with how do you plan for the future? How are you going to provide for yourself? What do you plan to do in life?
Does that help at all?
