am i doing it right? shut up.
So you want to turn a webcam and a Playstation/N64 controller combind them and make it into a "Camtroller"? OOOkay?
I have no idea what your talking about, but far as I know, you can't hazxors a game controller to use as a camera that can plug into a usb port into a pc.
That's prety much impossible, and even if it was possible, no-one would make a stop-by-step guite for it.
Don't eat yellow snow, Pepsi and coke are the same thing, etc. Visit my webpage! (go on)
Can I eat your brain? pleeeaaase?

I don't mean a webcam. Just a normal camera that can be operated useing an ps1 or a n64.

Haven't you read what we all typed? It's not possible. Those controllers are not made to be ever turned into cameras. I don't know what gave you the idea that it is possible. It's not. If you want a camera, go to work, and buy one for 20 dollars. There, cheaper, easier, and faster.

of course its possible, its just putting a camera inside a different case.
rewiring it so the "x" or whatever button takes the photo.
i dont think there would be an exact how to guide on the net, but if the topic starter does attempt this they should take photos of the process and put one up when they are successful.
now im starting to think i read it wrong, you want a normal camera to be controlled by a controller..
i dont see the point?

You need to be a computer engineer, and maybe a mechincal engineer to pull something like that off. He first have to find a lens for the camera, to accept like and process it. Then find a way to power the camera through the cord. Then take that cord, un do it, and re write it to be usb compatible.
Then, even if he manages to do all that. He would still need a way to make the computer recognize this device with a driver. And then, finally have a software to just use the new device. I really don't think just using logitech image capture would be able to do the job.
So, if you really wanted to, and you were a genius like the guys at mythbusters, I guess it could be possible, but really really crappy. Remember how the n4 controllers are shapped and how small the ps1 contrller is. Just not possible due to the huge ineffiency.

I think that would be the biggest problems, size and shape.

it is a really stupid idea, really.
and oh so pointless, i don't know why i entertained the thought.
let's move on.

This is what I want to do. Its a digital not a regual camera. You have to be an electonic engineer. I'm a Computer Tech. So codeing isnt going to be hard.
