Sure, but a topic that focusses on "lol first topic" runs counter to the attempt to control lazy-ass posting. If you allow multiple threads to get out of hand then a) the problem explodes into a bandwagon and b) people actually do start getting pissed about it.

Topics that focus on different aspects of the the new layout are somewhat permissable, depending on their content.

Well this one actually turned into a nice discussion about the header. Sometimes conversations are like that, they just take a little bit of time to start developing. Just sit back for this one and let it play out a little.

Well we certainly didn't half-ass it this time. It's ALL blue, instead of a mixture of the new color and orange, which looked a little funky. And we left all the rest of the site orange, just to retain a sense of... identity I guess.

The header and snowman looks excellent. The blue buttons and links add a really nice vibe to the whole thing that the previous winter themes didn't. The ice statues looks pretty cool, but you should hang some Christmas lights or something around them to give them some pizzazzzz.

I wish I could snowfy sigs this year, but that 3 year long tradition is broken because we can't have animated sigs anymore. Sorry guys. :(
