Little Girl, Hard Baseball

I was at the cubs game yesterday (which by the way I had great seats) and the guy at bat (forgot who he was) belted a foul ball and landed about 25 to the left and hit this little girl in the head. She had a mild concusion and was taken away from the game. There was also a guy that looked like Andre Agussi.

I never go to any big events, unless I am very interested. It's just not worth it. Accidents seems to be more likely to happen where places are crowded.

that's a shame. why do kids always get hurt at games? why is it never some fat fuck with his shirt off, spilling beer all over everyone and screaming obscenities? they should have a sniper with a paintball gun targeting those blobs. then i'd watch more baseball.

Yeah... well, at least the Astros were in the #1 spot for over a month. Back in May and June, all the Cubs and Cardinals fans were saying we couldn't hold onto it for more than a few days, and the 'Stros proved THEM wrong, at least.

But I do wish that the #1 stretch woulda been all September long, not all July long. Ah well.
