Im looking for a good animtor and artist for a game. There is no ideas yet, so we have to talk about it. I am a intermediate coder, im working on 2 projects right now with Zorg-O and another person(different project), i am the coder for both. Looking for a level 7 or higher artist who is good with tweening, special effects (explosions etc) and art. Must have a tablet, if u dont show me ur work with a mouse and ill see.

hi im lukas. im sort of an animator and ASer, but mostly ASer. i'd say im probly about a 4 or 5, maybe a little more. currently im working on a whack-a-mole engine. the only thing that isnt working is that if u miss one "mole", it wont allow u to hit any other ones. i think i no how to fix that tho. Here's a random tunnel thing that i made. so does anyone wanna work with me?

You duplicate the movie clip of the circle behind and make the 1st one slightly bigger, you make the duplicate at the mouse to get them to follow. Its something like that.

Whack a mole is really not complicated, not a 5, especially if it has problems

I'd say your probably a 5-6, because your pretty damn good at sticks. I think something like WPN fire would be good, but you'd need someone much higher than a 5 or 6. I'd say if you increase your Flash skills and move up to non-sticks you could make something better than WPN fire and do really well.

and i prefer to just draw still images.. but i can animate aswell.. :P

Just keep trying! That's what you've got to do! It's the only way that you'll get better, and it's practicing. That's how everyone gets better. Look at Luis and you'll see that he's a damn good animator with using a Mouse. Trust me, tablets are good, but they can be equally as much of a pain in the ass.

I am thinking of makeing a 2D RPG. So I am looking for someone to make a basic human body(walking cycles, attacking motions, different eyes, hair styles, etc). And clothes to fit the basic body(shoes, shirt, etc). I can make weapons but it would be good to have someone else able to make weapons too. And backgrounds will be needed too. Me and are doing a big mario platformer, we have assembled a .swf of some of the graphics we are using. we need these code requirments, (tomattox will also be coding most of it)

a random item gennerator (from an item box)
item codes (to make mario bigger ect.)
enemy codes (smaller ect.)
platform codes
marios jumping, walking, running,
coins (when you walk into a coin, it counts it)
coin counter
deaths (mario falls from edge)
when and how mario will beat levels
bosses(when mario beats one)
healthbars
also alot of animtion help and story bording is needed, but here's the basic plan:
TOTAL: 15 levels
every 3 levels there is a mini boss
evey 5th level there is a bowser boss

tomattox will do alot of the code, i will be doing animation, and we need help with code, tonnes of it!!!
