Animator/aser Seekers Thread

This is a thread for all of you looking for animators and actionscriptors!

I've decided to make a thread like this, due to all of the overflowing threads of people seeking animators and actionscriptors. So I am starting a thread which is for all of the people seeking any level of actionscriptors or animators. This thread is only for FLASH animators and ASers.
Rules

1) Follow all the BBS Rules.

2) Don't flame or attack someone for being a noob or not having any skill at Flash. There are two things you can do in that position. The first thing to do is to tell them what to do better next time and how they can do whatever is being done better. The second possibility is to ignore it and not say anything.

3) Don't spam and just say useless crap to fill this thread up. Just be as useful as possible. If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all.

4) This is not a thread for HELP! If you are needing actionscript help, make your own thread about it. If you are needing animating help, likewise for you.

Skill Levels (1-10):
0) I suck, first time opening Flash
1) In-between 0 and 1
2) I'm pretty bad and always use sticks
3) In-between 2 and 4
4) I'm all right, but not very good
5) In-between 4 and 6
6)I'm pretty good, and could have a nice BA of over 3.0
7) In-between 6 and 8
8) I'm a great animator and have been drawing for some years
9) In-between 8 and 10
10) I'm one of the best animators out there

For Actionscriptors:
Show some of your previous ASed works. You may also want to use random crappy shapes and just have a fake version of what it will be look like. You could also just have the real version finished and ask the animator to make the art, where you can then just plug it in. You should also tell your animators about how you want all of the frames, movieclips, and scenes to work.

For Animators:
Try and have some art worked out before you look for the actionscriptor, and then you can show them what you are searching for. There's also one HUGE thing which I might tell you from personal experience. You should have all of the different aspects of the game worked out. If you have a game where lets say you have an RPG with stats, you might want to work out all of the stats, items, moves, etc.

I like that people are starting to post their ideas. If you see something that looks appealing to you, feel free to reply. You don't have to follow the posting guidelines if you are responding to someones post. So just be like, "Hey _____, I'll work with you on that (or something else)...heres some of my stuff (linked) and you can contact me at ______ with AIM (or whatever) to see some of my stuff"

I work in AS3 but that shouldn't matter for the animator, because CS3 is backward compitable.

I'm looking for a SERIOUS animator with a nice style that DOESN'T QUIT. Don't even bother to reply if you don't have work to show me! Don't show me fancy flash effects either, I need to see some animation and graphics (preferably a nice running cycle and some kind of vehicle?)

The game is already in the making, so after we put in a few animations we'll already have a little game.

I'm an Actionscriptor seeking an animator. You don't have to be amazing, just have a cool style or something, and make it showable. My current work is a game called Blob with Pezboy440,but things came up, so thats postponed till whenevr, and were both cool on a deadline for that, so I'm free to script. Check my profile for game stats, though they might be a bit old. I'm only 12

so if we get sponcered, then you guys can take something around 60/40. I would really only want $200/$300 max anyways, and you guys get the rest. That will change depending on how much we might get. Say if we get $150 or below, you get all. if we get $200, I want $100, you get $100. For $300, I get $100 you get $200. For $1000, I want $200/$300 you get the rest. It all depends on what we get, if we do.
Both my previous flashes were only Button tutorials, and I made them eons ago, and I have improved GREATLY since then. Really.

Or at shcool I can use Flash CS3, but I'm more comfortable with 7, so I'l probaly code everything, then you send me the art if you can, so I can put it in, then if you want to tweak it, i'l send it to you. I'm really leanient on deadlines. So much infact, I never have one. I work better without pressure, but if you want a deadline we can have it, but It needs to be reasonable.

I go to shcool 5 days a week, gotta do homework, ect. ect.

As for the game itself, I have some interesting things ive made that are really cool and/or awsome that we could put in a game.
My Actionscript level is probally:
6)I've had a BA of 3.1, but then I deleted my third entry becuas eit sucked, so ive only got 2 flash on NG now

Good, I'm happy people have started to post some of their ideas. Could some people start responding to some of the posts though? If you're an animator and are going to write a "seeking", then why not look through some of the recent actionscriptors stuff so that you can see if there's anything else you might want to do, and ASer's for you likewise...

Can you also stop linking to your previous threads and saying just look here, I mean...that's all right, but I'd rather you ALSO post information in this thread so that people can kind of see what it is that's going on. But since it's just getting started it's fine.

- I've got a lot of creative ideas for a game, but I wanted to start simple. I'm looking to do a basic Mario styled side-scroller, but with a medieval theme and undead enemies.
-The game will simply be about 3 levels with a boss at the end. It will be a basic, coins/lives system where any contact other than stomping on monsters will kill you.
