I wouldn't say it's a bad, or gay, game but I wouldn't pay for it. It's just a generic RPG with online play, theres nothing special about it and I already have original MMORPGs that I play and enjoy. When I played the Wow trial for the first time I knew the game was a very average over hyped MMORPG.

It's only addicted if you let it be, you obviously have to do other stuff. So as long as that's not all you do you should be fine. I used to play and I wasn't addicted.

WoW is a good game from 1-69. Like 60 end-game content before it, the game becomes a raid-fest. I'd say it's worth it to pay to play if you can invest the time into it - maybe more if you actually like raiding. As for me, I stopped raiding post-BC and quit. =/

Just because some people are like that, does not mean all are. If you actually think about it, over one million people play WoW, and not all of them can be fat and ugly, in fact when i used to play a few years ago i meet some people and added them on chat places, and they werent like that at all. So i do agree, that is just a sterotype. What about Runescape players, or Xbox players, its just as addicting and you have to pay for it, so are all of them fat, ugly and homeless? Hmm...
