That's exactly the problem. Sex should mean something. It should be the expression of extreme emotion at least. If you look at it as meaningless then you're going to extend that feeling to whoever you have sex with. Now you're lacking the basic feeling of human romance.

The thing is, sex should be fun and lighthearted, but it should be with someone you love. And that's where the issue gets muddled. A lot of people who are against porn think that it should be this serious solemn act, and those who are for it think that it should be all fun who gives a shit! (Speaking generally, of course.) But who says it can't be both? True, sex is trivialized in porn. It's about two strangers who meet and then fuck because they can. But actual sex, that's fun and silly but WITH the emotional connection makes it all the better because you actually care about pleasing each other, which makes the act of sex itself last longer, feel better, and, overall, much more satisfying. Unfortunately, the majority of porn doesn't convey this.
