=D
Guess what I found on sonicbomb.com
Czech hackers fake atomic blast in morning TV
(Scroll down for the movie)
I would've been pretty FUCKING shocked if i saw this during my morning coffee...
But, nevertheless I think that's a cool (though... kinda sick) idea, and they faked it well ^^
What do you think? And how would the public reaction be if someone in... America did this?? *lol*

Haha man.
As awesome as I think this is, there's really not a lot of good things that can come out of it other than them being really proud of themselves.
That's just the kind of thing you don't fuck with. If the public has no way of knowing it's a joke, then you don't do it, that's just retarded. It's like playing a "prank" on you by jerking off in your hamburger. HAHA YOU GOT ME, I ATE YOUR SPERM.
It's the same shit as faking death threats or putting flour in enveloppes and having people think it's anthrax.
Clearly, I would love to do all these things myself, but if we're going to be a society, this is the kind of shit you just don't do.

Yeah, true.
I bet America would've gone nuts ^^, and that would be quite reasonable!
Nevertheless, the czech administration reacted pretty cool to this incident...
They didn't even bring it in the media here in Austria, and that although they're a neigboring country ^^

OMG. That's awesome. Wonder if anyone went out looting, or if any old folks were shocked into a heart attack.
All-in-all, that technique is even more convincing than a recent guerilla-style marketing stunt here in NZ where a long-extinct volcano just across from our biggest city experienced a "simulated eruption" (600kg of smokey fireworks) which not-so-surprisingly sent some families scrambling into survival mode.

that was great!
They could get away with charges, since I'd imagine a number of people freaked out...but still.
I would like to see what the reaction was for the newscasters...
But you can imagine what kind of havoc it would cause in any local news station in the US...where people practically warship the local news. They have their own rituals around it, they plan their dinner meal to it (eat during, not eat during...). And a lot of local stations, at least in my area, like to go to live feeds of weather cameras.

That's not the same thing at all. In this case, the "victims" of the prank are aware something goofy has happened. And of course, since signal hijacking is relatively rare, they'd find out it was a joke shortly afterward.

Even if it wasn't pointed out that it was fake, I could still tell that it was fake.

Yeah, but imagine you being a czech countyside guy enjoying his breakfast and watching the weather channel and then THIS? I'm sure you'd be pretty much freaking out XD
I mean, they even got the delayed shockwave simulated...
Let's hope some ameriacan joker doesn't have the same idea - the chaos would be gruesome =/

You better hope its a prankster whp does this. What they did proved how easily it is to manipulate the media. If its this easy for a bunch of czech punk kids, imagine what a politician could do? Imagine a politician doing this to the media and declaring state of emergency right afterwards?

Fucking hell. Poxpower is dead on the money. Nothing comes of that. If they had that much talent, you think they'd be able to do something beneficial, at least for themselves. If you're going to risk a felony on that scale, you might as well make a few million while you're at it.
Think you're pretty clever...

Well if you're watching at home, you wouldn't know it's a joke unless the tv people told you later.
Btw your grandmother died of a cancer this afternoon. I'm really sorry.
NOT, IT WAS A JOKE! LAFF!
