Ahh! I can't move my arm! Aug. 12th, 2003 @ 02:05 PM Reply

OK, the creepiest thing happened to me this morning. I must have slept on my arm all night, so when I woke up this morning, I couldn't move it at all or feel it! I started panicking and flopped it around with my other arm until I started to get feeling in my fingers and eventually the use of my arm back. That was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me, has anyone else had the same experience?

Once, when I was seven, I couldn't move my neck. Almost had a heart attack.

Yep. Many times. Best way to get blood flowing back into the limb is to have it hang down to the floor. The gravity will quicken the delivery of fresh, oxygenated blood.

I don't think such a thing ever happened to me. Although I did once confuse something with a thumb, and when I moved my thumb (to check it was mine) the fake thumb didn't move and I thought it was someone else's thumb. It scared me a little. After a few seconds I saw it wasn't a thumb and I relaxed.

That usually happens to my hand. It's cool because you lose all feeling in it and when you feel it it feels cold. Scary the first time it happen to me.

There have actually been topics about this in the past.

For some people, they completely froze up for about thirty seconds and could not move a single muscle, spare thier eyes. Now THAT is scary.

during football practice back in high school, someone didn't know how to tackle and slammed at me full force with his helmet into my shoulderblade. It was clenched in a fist and felt paralyzed. that was the freakiest moment of my life; faced with the possibliity of never using that arm again. luckily it wore off in a few minutes and I could move it again

If u sleep on your arm at night, blood flow gets restricted to your arm, making it numb. Its very normal that that happened.

Happens to me around once a week, usually more.
It's horrible ain't it?
Just flex it for about 30 seconds and it feels normal again.

Good trick is sleeping on your arm and then masturbating when it's numb. Feels like raping dead fish.

It happens to me all the time, normally to baoth arms at once.

It's really hard to get up or even roll over when it happens to both arms.

yes one time I was sleeping and when I woke up I was unable to move at all for about 5 minutes.
I was scared shit trying to move but then I finally was able to. I think that happened because when you sleep your brain releases a chemical that paralyzes you so you do not act out your dream so my body was still asleep.

It happened to me once. It was quite scary to be honest, I thought that is there something really wrong with my arm. I was so happy when I started to feel it again.

something similar happened to me once.
i slept in a weird position, and in the morning i couldnt move my left shoulder without it hurting.
so i had to spend like 5 hours to loosen it up before i could even get up from bed.
the pain lasted for a week.
