Coolest decade, I was born in ´84, so I enjoy a lot the freakin´ 90´s. Here is the best.

Music:
Nirvana
Silverchair
Foo Fighters
Weezer
Alice in Chains
Garbage
Green Day
The Offspring
Presidents of the USA
Anything related to Grunge and Alternative Rock

Movies:
Clerks
Pulp Fiction
Fargo
Terminator 2
Mallrats
and so many more I can´t remember right now....

TV:
X-Files
South Park (began in 1997)
Seinfeld
Friends
Futurama (99)
Beavis and Butthead
Rocko´s modern life

Other:
SNES
Internet
Tamagotchi
Bill Clinton´s sexgate

The tv and the movies are good in this decade, but the music in this decade sucks.

I can't believe no one's mentioned the greatness that is Pavement yet.

What can a thoughtful man hope for mankind on Earth, given the experience of the past million years? Nothing

Rock music was not that good back in the 90's. Mostly rap dominated the charts. 80's still have the best rock music.

What are you on!? The 80's was rock music's halocaust. It was all electro pop and generic heavy and hair metal bands. The guitarist become more important then the song. It was a ridiculous time in rock music. Everything was tacky and fake and to a large extent people followed that trend.

The 90's brought you The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Muse, Queen Adreena, Pearl Jam. These bands actualy sat down and thought about the music, they breathed life into a dead genre. They were the down-to-earth alternative to the increasinly materialistic commercial rap on the radio.

Also the Spawn animated series on HBO was freaking cool, the first adult-serious american animated show I ever watched.

I was born in the start of the 90's; 1990, to be exact.

But yeah, that decade had most of the greatest shows/cartoons, music, games, etc. of all time.
