Go see a doctor and let him/her find out what the problem is. God, does anyone do that anymore?

Well, I've never heard of thumbnail cancer, so I wouldn't be that worried... But you should ask a doctor or something.

Hit it with a hammer that might work

Cancer of the thumbnail perhaps? Or maybe it’s a government implant............ I’d stay away from the doctor........ Hey may be in on it too.

That happened to me when I got a wart on my thumb. It just grows out. It happens because of physical stress to the area. At least that's what they want you to think...

Sounds like Oslers disease to me, when the cappilaries flare to small lumps underneath bones and nails, its caused by severe pressure strain to the area, or it can be caused by stress.
