How do I get copyable text in .swfs? (like the flash tutorials have)
I've been with newgrounds since 2001!!! The first flash animation I saw was Elmo's Got A Gun. The Something Is Wrong Collab

I think you just have to make it selectable, in the properties box thing.

Make a text-box, select it, and go to its properties (Usually at the bottom of the screen) and there should be a small icon that says 'Ab', the b looks like it's highlighted, make sure this is selected and you'll be able to select your text in the SWF file.
Hope this helps, here's a diagram:

Make a textbox and set it to Dynamic, from the drop down menu that should currently say Static.

Input text allows you to type in the textbox, he just wants it to be selectable. I don't think there is a selecatble option for static text in MX2004, so he has to set the text to Dynamic.

Yes there is. Don't get him all mixed up.
Make a static text box, and click the button in the image that was posted earlier.
