Not completely finished with this yet... maybe 80% done? idk, I just don't know what to add at this point without taking away from the flow ive already created.
Making beats for your ryhmes and sounds for your soul
this will be Ultramartyr's second song. we're doing a cover to shake some rust off after an extended vacation.
here's a small loop on the thing I'm working on, techno house'ih progressive thing
I'm trying to make it more lively but kinda starting to think about abandoning this and starting on something else
so yeah, a bit of brainstorming goes a long way
Just wondering what people think of 2:00 onwards and if I should make the song more like that.
Hey guys I'll be mastering an EP of my dubstep music in a couple hours. If i stream it on ustream or another similar would any of you be interested in checking it out? It's more modern dubstep, just so you know. If you dig the older more meditative kind you may not be as in to it.
here are a few of my tracks if you want to see if you're interested
Hi, I am still creating music for my scary game and I made 2 so far.
so what you think?
I've been working on this EP since October last year. It's not completely finished yet. I still have one more song to make but I wanted to know your thoughts and possibly get constructive criticism.
Anyway, here's the link: http://soundcloud.com/galacticbass/sets/the-darkness-inside/

I liked it a lot! It sounded a lot like the song when you have to shoot Skull Kid's hand to get the Ocarina back in Majora's Mask. And it also had a Wario Land 4 vibe to it. (when you have the key and have to run back to the beginning)
Keep up the good work man!
Will you guys help me making the best trance song ever?
Feedback very much appreciated!!
Yeaah my third song! Hope u like it ;)

current WIP, made in Renoise.
A quick arrangement, still deciding what direction it should go in (more organic-sounding or more trippy/ soundscape-ish)
and for future reference, how do I embed tracks in posts?
Somehow when it comes to producing dubstep music i feel pretty confident about the intro, but when it comes to the drop / bass part, i have no clue about how to make it fit to the intro. Please leave me some feedback on how to make a sick drop! any thoughts and links to tutorials / music theory are very welcome :)
I'd like to hear from someone with some reasonable sense about what kind of instrument I should lead this with.
It's actually making me feel a little angry that I can't complete it at present.
Anyone for feedback, I'd be glad to have it.

Furry and Proud.
Dare to troll me? Be my guest. Come get some.
I've got 3 WIP on my wall.
Saw this after the post haha.
Gimme some feedback ig

I think some of the problems mainly reside with the voice, because at times, it's really hard to understand what's going on within the song. It seems like the background melody and the voice are both demanding for attention as well as some of the harmony, so I never really feel like there a clear lead to the song (which should mainly be the voice). I think maybe a bit of EQ could solve this problem as you can have the mid range frequencies of the voice boost a little (or a lot... depending on what your looking for) so you can have the voice become more prominent. Also, I think that you need a bit of clarity on the voice as well, so if you can (especially if you did the voice parts yourself), split the voice tracks apart and work on equalizing them so that they fit together perfectly.
Other then that, I think the background melody sounds professionally done, so I'll give you props for that. And until you add your bro's voice in, I'm not sure what other advice I can give for that specific song. GL on it.
Alright, if anyone has any advise on this song (I'm not quite sure what else I can do on this song), feel free to post it on this thread :)
Here's a piece I am working on, it's "program music" for the first two chapers of a book set in early Ancient Rome. I plan to get at least three chapters done, with perhaps a maximum of 5 chapters (5 movements).
Here's a Medley Of Demo's for an Upcoming Album me and a couple of Newgrounders have been working on.
Please let me know what you think :D
I am *very* new to purely electronic music making and so would love to get some advice/comments about a track I'm working on.
I'm not even able to actually classify its genre. I picked "progressive trance" in the SoundCloud list, but if you think this sounds more like something else (wouldn't surprise me), please speak up :-)
It's unfinished at this point; somewhat over 3 minutes and ends abruptly. I hope to get it to about 6 minutes.
So I've been having some trouble with mixing/mastering/production where I think it might sound alright, but have little to no formal experience with it to justify that thought. I came out with a new track and was wondering if I could get some advice on how to get it sounding good from anyone who knows their shit better than I do (i.e. anyone).
Finalizing but advice is always welcome.
The idea is a crazy videogame soundish mix that could have come out of an arcade cabinet.
The project itself is the audio for a speeddrawing painting that a friend is doing with a VG Theme.
Newgrounds little demo here: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/490794
The soundcloud one is the full 10+ minutes version.
I've spent what seems like an eternity on this song, but since it's still lyrically and musically (mainly the outro) incomplete, I figure it belongs on here. And, hey, maybe SOMEONE will review it. Will return the favor + 1. And I'm following the guidelines by reviewing someone else's WIP (now) even if no one even listens to mine.

guitar rig fucking rocks my socks
You wanted feedback on the drums? I would use the crash more liberally since this is on the fringe of thrash metal, and no headbanging is really complete without a crash symbol to go along with it. I also thought the hi hats were a bit random. I dunno, it just seemed a tad spurratic. That being said, the rest of the drums were quite good. I liked the pattern of kicks and snares. Some of the tom fills left more to be desired...but I have absolutely no room to speak there o.0
Guitar playing was nice, especially when it was doubled up with lead and rhythm. Guitar rig is a plugin for iPhone's right? I think I saw one at Radio Shack the other day. Nice work
