Could do with some advice on how to improve this.
Vocals are definitely going to be added later, but I'm more focused on the music at the minute.

I need some feedback here. this is the first song that i'm going for. I went for a slower dub intro, i want to come in at the end and pick up the beat and do a dub drop with an electro feel afterwards. I haven't done a whole lot of actual level mixing i'm saving that for the end. I know it sounds good on my amp when the treble and bass are boosted and the volume's up. All feedback is welcome. Theres been about 10-15 posts not following the rules at all, so I better be the first to revive them x)

This is epic, Samulis! All the instruments and melodys sound beautiful together!
The problems I have are that it seems to kick in too quickly, theres not really much of an intro, might just be me nitpicking xD
As for making it longer, that last acoustic guitar riff right at the end sounds perfect to lead on to a classical solo, with maybe that flute melody in the background too, then kick back in to a finale!
Hope this helps! In all fairness though, you make some awesome orchestral music!

I've just posted up a new trance song that I whipped up a night ago, really don't know what to do with it, whether to break it down more and build it back up again, or to try adding something new to it!

Early Nights (WIP)

I didn't even know there was a forum like this! Wow, this is awesome. This would have been so useful before, but how was I supposed to know without ever searching for it. Haha.

Anyway, I have this song called Klaxon and I think I'm done, but I kinda want to bring back sometime from the beginning in order to connect it all back together. Or I could just leave it as it is. There are some things I might end up changing about it anyway.

Any advice at all would be supremely appreciated! :D

I'm not the great expert in here, but since I didn't see any reply to your post, I'll tell you what I think...

First: that's a great epic score... no doubt about it...

Second: it's hard to explain, really, but I think you need to work out the general build-up of the piece...
and that's where I don't want you to get me wrong:
I hear there is an intended build-up, but overall, all of the song is quite at the same level of tension,
so when your choir finally gets in, you don't get the full potential out of it...

again, I'm not the expert around here, but here are my tips:
1-make it quieter in the begening and louder when the choir gets in (and even more for the finale)
2-use more variations in dynamics (I heard almost nothing out of mf-f-ff)
2-use breaks: it's always effective to keep the listener's attention and build-up tension
(4-)my composition teacher would tell you to get rid of the repetition in the middle, but I personally don't mind...

so, yeah...that's about it...
I hope that's the kind of feedback you wanted....

and, angain, great track....I wish I wrote stuff like this...

Heya guys. I just now started working on this WIP for a game. Basically I haven't really written it yet....at least not the vocals. I made a quick tune and randomly vocalized to it. I was just wondering if my vocals fit at all with the style, and should I actually continue with this piece? I need some feedback, or I will probably quit making it. It is a very big project to take on.
