This is a big one. I just finished writing a screenplay for an animated movie to be posted here on Newgrounds. It's called Kent Willis: The Real Sider-Man (the link goes to its Facebook page). It's a short story about a kid who loves Spider-Man, and one day gets cast as Spider-Man in a movie. He learns that he's more than just cast as Spider-Man, he's become Spider-Man using SCIENCE! Now that I've explained the story. Let me give you all a look at the 18 characters in the movie.
Narrator (cast member here) - with an announcer-like voice, the narrator explains stuff from the 3rd person at some points. For the role, send me (via PM, or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org) you in announcer voice saying "This (stop for a moment) is Kent, Kent Willis."
Kent Willis (U-Gamer) - the main protagonist who is 15-years old and becomes Spider-Man. He is a huge fan of Spider-Man too.
Scott Curth (cast member here) - one of the main protagonists who is the director of the movie Kent is put in, and becomes Kent's best friend. He's 23 years old, but is also very cool. For this part, send me (via PM, or by email to email@example.com) you in your coolest voice saying "Kid, you're going to be Spider-Man." (a line cut out of the movie)
Dr. Pete Rutgare - A 25-year old doctor who sounds a bit like a nerd. As well as Kent and Scott, he is a big Spider-Man fan. For part, send me (pm/email) "We've created the Spider-Man gene."
Dean Willis - The 37-year old father of Kent Willis. He becomes the main antagonist throughout the movie, Chameleon. PM/email me: "Is that all you got, Spider-Man?". Note: He has an italian voice.
Mary Willis - The 36-year old mother of Kent Willis. She is only seen throughout the movie at the family home, nowhere else. PM/email me: "I made Spider-Man shaped waffles."
Dr. Kennedy - Seen briefly in only one scene in the movie, this 107-year old doctor/scientist, uses his a needle to get some blood from Kent so he can make the Spider-Man gene. PM/email me: "Fire away, kiddo."
Office Smilten - This fire-fighter (will be credited as Fire-Fighter) doesn't believe in Spider-Man, until Kent as Spider-Man comes along and saves a baby from a burning building. PM/email me: "Kid, just because you have a Spider-Man costume, doesn't mean your Spider-Man."
Mr. Simon Hoot - The father of the baby who Spider-Man saved from the burning building. PM/email me:"He's a savior, a real savior. Thank God, Spider-Man."
Mrs. Karen Hoot - The mother of the baby who Spider-Man saved from the burning building, she is seen only twice, crying in joy. PM/email me: [in a crying-in-joy kinda mood]"Thank, thank you, thank you, Spider-Man."
Frank P. Lombardi (aka Frank the Bartender) - An italian english-speaking bartender who owns a bar called Frank's (not revealed in the movie). PM/email me: "I need a name."
Secret Agent - An agent who helps Scott, Dr. Rutgare, and Kent in the end of the movie.PM/email me: "Yes, sir."
Tom Kayertu A news anchorman. Sounds like Tom Tucker from Family Guy (optional, though). PM/email me: "Thanks for watching Channel 5 News."
Kina Saiaunt - A news anchorwoman. PM/email me: "Thanks for watching Channel 5 News."
Kenny Tooner - A news anchorman. He goes live to speak to people on the streets, mostly important witnesses (like Mr. and Mrs. Hoot). PM/email me: "Back to you, Tom."
Ollie Williams - A news anchorman. He makes a guest appearance in an exclusive easter-egg scene which will be hidden as a scene when the news comes on. He comes from Family Guy, and your part must sound like him. PM/email me: "It's sunny!"
Witness #1 - This witness talks about seeing the Chameleon being seen taking the form of Frank the Bartender.
So I've made every one of these characters (Ollie doesn't count as an original character though), and each is uncasted as of now. Take any part, besides Kent Willis (that's my part!). After 5000 characters of writing, I'm ready to say it - "Sign Up for a Part Now!"
