HAHA
I understand I don't like pakistans government either, but forming alliences is not the same as forming friendships. We sometimes have to form alliences with countries we don't like for strategic and economic reasons. The reason we are supporting pakistan is because their support is strategic in assisting in the war on terrorism because the fact that many taliban are hiding in pakistans wilderness but yet the pakistani army is cracking down on the taliban, we unfortunatly have to support their army to help them expell terrorists and extremists. This is the way politics work.

Why not attach political reform strings along with the military aid? This is the way politics works.
Military aid to a country like Pakistan is a fundamentally unsound idea. Check this for an example.
The one thing force produces is resistance.

The same reason you supported the Mujahadin ..thus leading to terrorism and Bin Ladin in the first place. Argument fails!

Except Musharraf is making secret deals with the Taliban also. That's the way to survive in politics!
