What do you think about the future of NGs?
I mean, there are already thousands of flash and audio submissions
and so many forum topics. I think one time it'll be too much for NGs,
and it will explode or server will not respond or kinda this.
What do you think about that?

i think you lack a basic understanding of how servers, databases and websites in general work.

Didn't you know? Modern computing technology now has a high risk of exploding!

That depends on how much the servers can handle. But looking at the amount of content and the visitors each day, I would say dont worry about it. Chances are those servers can handle more than like 5-6TB a month. More than likely more. Also newgrounds is more than likely running off more than one server, so the size and bandwidth is spread out between them

Why do you think it's pointless?
5-10 years later servers gonna be sure full.
Yesterday, nobody was able to visit newgrounds for 10-20 minutes,
that's why I made this topic, let's discuss about it!

I think people will eventually leave newgrounds due to a combination of overzealous modding and the rise of spam submissions ala [kk]

That's also a problem, every [KK] user should get a BAN!

they upgrade and replace servers all the time.
the site being down for 10 minutes is not a big deal.

That wasn't because they where full, that's because of an error they got after updating part of it, I saw Tims post on a topic that is now deleted. Servers don't get full and go BOOM and if it was going to get full anytime soon, they'd soon switch, lmao.

What if Fulps get killed, Stamper explodes himself, Mindchamber get rapped, Stamper dies, JohnyUtah wanked too much and he explodes too, Ross's eyes run away etc...
Who will take care about NGs then???

You're an idiot if you think there wont be solutions to the space problem when and if it ever arrives.
But judging by your original post, and subsequent ones in your topic, you clearly are an idiot.

They will upgrade as usual for as long as they want to keep the site going and have the money to do so.

Also they will have someone watching the servers a lot of the time to make sure they run smoothly, And like someone said iff they do get overloaded they will either purchase a new server and spread it across them or just upgrade.

first off, the servers will not explode because even if they over loaded thats not going to happen.
second, when the servers run out of room they buy a new thing to store the info.

dude this site is too popular for the bandwidth to exceed over its reach
the only time that would happen is if tom fulp becomes lazy, and he has to many $1,000 winner contests and not enough to support the portal.
But I do see something related to that happening

The future of newgrounds wont be much different. There will be some design changes again and again, but will be the same.
In about 20 years, newgrounds will probebly be already be taken down.

I agree, if it hasn't been taken down in 20 years I would be suprised. I mean how long can they possibly keep this going?
