Wacom Practice: Portrait.

So I just bought myself a wacom intuos3 4x6 Tablet and I have to say I'm extremely pleased with the results. I just drew a portrait of myself for practice with no base picture. It's a self portrait. Tell me what you guys think.

Tell me what I can do to improve. Any advice would be great.

A very nice drawing.
Your facial anatomy is considerably better than anything I can currently draw, and your drawing of facial expression is quite skillful.
I can't really tell how accurately drawn this is, mainly because I've never seen a picture of you to compare this with, but something just seems a little odd about the bridge of the nose.

Still, it's a very nice piece.

I just got mine yesterday. I've got a new Bamboo series one.

Original bamboo, not the bamboo fun or bamboo one.

It's very nice. The only thing that looks like you didn't pay enough attention to is your shirt, it looks a little rushed to me. The face is great and expressive. Good job.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I don't know if the shirt was a bit rushed, I'd say I spent a decent amount of time on it. No more or less then I intended to. Maybe it's because I'm not good at drawing clothes. However some stuff that I think I could do is grow a goatee, however I don't think people like me can pull it off. I have rather young features so something as rugged as a goatee just wouldn't fit me.

Also I just noticed the left eye was a bit rushed. I'm gonna go back and redo it. If anyone would like me to draw them please tell me.

It's a sweet drawing, g0t, some of the creases on the shirt bug me a bit, but that's cause I don't like shirts.

what you could do is work on your lineart more...you should make the lines more airy, some areas, like the lips, have less thick lines, because they are less hard corners. and the top where the nose connects to the face, it needs to ease in cause the nose spreads out into the eye brows...i love the shading, its very much like a pencil sketch, and the shirt is just real bad....well not REALLY bad, but comparatively, the shirts very bad... very good,
