Hello Club! Just came back from the Body Works Museum. Freaky little place but i did enhoy myself! Can't imagine myself dieing and get platinadade lol.

Update: Still looking fr a Instrumental Co-Assistant Manager, make those post :)

Oh, that was real awesome Sir-Fart-Alot, and yea you can barely hear it over the trumpet i think. Though i didn't know jazz require the trumpet in some certain songs O.o. Eh i learn new things everyday.

Speaking of jazz, this is John Coltrane. He's a very talented musician. In that video, he's playing a soprano saxophone.

Also, here's some stuff by Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band that my teacher showed me last year in jazz band.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
Count Bubba
Count Bubba's Revenge

Response to Instrument Club 2007-11-24 11:52:47

nice... good stuff in those vids... it be kool to play in an orchestra... eh, we should try recording a piece together... just pass it and we all can add to it maybe create an original song or something. i dunno if good idea or not..would be something to try i guess

Dude, we're playing count bubba in jazz band right now. It's really hard. The trumpet part is fucking crazy in range at the end.

I'm your average Afro-American fetus. For example: I enjoy basketball, I'm rather good when I play too, but I'm much too busy scratching my horrific cracked skin these days.

theres only 2 problems with that 1. i don't think we can do that beacuse of the rules and the fact that we cant do any flash/audio clubs 2.some of us might not have a microphone (yes i'm talking about me.) lol good idea even if we can't do that.

But we can always create an audio song? Just record it, then send it back and forth. It'd be like a mix tape i guess. But yea the idea was good but it'd probably won't work

Well the only problem is we would have to get one person to make the music, and each person to record them playing their part. And since I cant read music very fast it could take a while but good... We could always do Jam sessions via Teamspeak or some other Internet voice chat.

Response to Instrument Club 2007-11-24 16:04:00

Yea, but then we'd would have to find a very reliable chat source then we have to find a very good recording system. Also, we'd would have to actually make a music plan to do this, like what notes you'd probably need, what instrument you'd be using, and how long you think it would take? One thing for sure, i don't know how to record my own music so im in a slump. But maybe in the "future" we, as i mean the club can make a plan for this. Also i don't have time anymore to do much stuff only over the weekend. Since im trying to major in Chemistry and History.

12 stringers sound real distinct, can reach much higher or lower notes. It's to the guitar what the organ is to piano. Think of it that way, plus if you're good you can manage to strum all at once so it sounds really melodic like a sonnet.
