the attempt at shading was off, work on shading each individual part of the body rather than slapping one solid shadow across the entire body.

Looks like someone stuck a madness character in a blender.
Try putting in some effort.

No one holds their hands like that, and if they did, the thumbs would be on the other side. Also, the way you shaded it makes it look like a piece of standing cardboard.

The shading was weird. The fists are really not good. No one would hold their hands, palms out, with the fist trying to be clenched. You should probably do the overly simple design, like the rest of your picture, the more detailed fist clashes with the simple body.

No one also has just a unibrow with no eyes and a green punk-hawk with no neck.
Let the man draw. No offense. If he says that in his univese hands point forward then that's what he wants.
Would you tell Picaso that people don't come in 2-D?
Neither one looks like they were shootin' for realism.

apart from the other stuff being said, the body isn't even symmetric, note the right on picture foot is lower then the left one.

the shading is pretty bad, looks like you just drew one long line and shaded everything on one side of it.

the hands are all wrong, too.

also, anyone could do that in like 3 minutes...try something more complicated, therefore more interesting?

there is love burning to find you, will you wait for me?

G-d damn it can people please stop saying "would u tell Picasso?"
dude ok

1. Picasso is famous
2. Picasso, like all famous artists started realistically, then developed his own style when he became famous
3. this guy is not famous
4. if this guy wants to be a good artist, then he should listen to all the people that say that this is badly drawn and not to u, because failing will eventually lead to success and if u tell him that this is good, then he will continue drawing like this which is bad.

go to a museum, check out some Picasso.

there im done, can i get an A man?

Hell yes I would. Picasso was a fraud and the only reason he succeded was because the pretentious, pseudo-intellectual modern art movement approved his shitty artwork.

So what if it's "his style"? That doesn't make any less crappy. If you post your "art" on a forum you should expect people to comment on it and share their opinions.

Take what people say about your artwork into consideration, practice and try to improve. Or use the "It's my style"-argument and continue to be shitty. Your choice.

Okay. Wow! What age were you guys at kindergarden?

Yeah, the fists are way off, I did that on PURPOSE, it's probably not too obvious but it's the way he's standing. Oh and about it being non-symmetrical, thats flash mucking up.
