You do realize that your name and your post contradict themselves, right? You're saying romans suck yet your name claims that you're part of a Roman century... But yeah the Romans didn't mess with Ireland and rather built Hadrain's Wall to serve as an easy defense while they had to remove their centurions and Legions from England to help protect Gaul from the enclosing barbarian threat.
So really, Rome didn't suck they just needed their troops elsewhere.
