they believe that killing themselves is the best way out of it.
its quick and easy
You are making a very broad generalization here.
If, for example, a person became so depressed about something in their life, such a receiving a bad grade on a test and killed themselves, then you would probably be right. The thing is, people commit suicide for many reasons, not just because some inane bullshit is going on with them.
consider this, there are people in this world who have incurable and terminal illnesses. These people are faced with living the rest of their lives in pain and agony, or perhaps even doped up with enough drugs that they can't even preform basic functions. On top of that, they know that death is coming and it probably won't be pleasant. How do you solve this problem by "being patient"? You don't. This is why many terminally ill people opt to have themselves killed in a humane manner. This isn't a cop out, and unless you have been faced with this situation yourself, you shouldn't be one to judge their decision or call them ignorant.
Another large group of people who commit suicide are the mentally ill. There is such a broad spectrum of mental illnesses out there that it wouldn't really be realistic to discuss them all here. One of the major mental illnesses that come to mind that is associated with a high suicide rate is schizophrenia. I don't know if you have ever met anyone who is plagued by this disorder, but I have, and it can be extremely devastating to the afflicted individual. These people do not think the way that you and I do. They have disorganized thoughts, cannot regulate their emotions, have frequent hallucinations that they think are real and are usually very paranoid. These people also have a very high rate of suicide. according to schizophrenia.com, about ten percent of people diagnosed with schizophrenia kill themselves within ten years of their diagnosis. Most of these people who kill themselves don't even realize the implications of what they are doing. You can't blame a man for jumping off a bridge because he saw God on the bridge and God told him that if he jumps off the bridge that the demons will leave him alone. It might sound crazy that somebody would believe something so strange, but to those people, it is very real. It's as real to them as the words in post are to you.
but its a permanent solution to a temporary problem
I see you watch afterschool specials...
I hope you can see now that suicide is not limited to angry teens who got dumped, or are in the middle of some insignificant crisis that will blow over. There are people in this world who have problems that cannot be resolved and some of these people are constantly hallucinating and living a life of sheer terror. It's extremely inconsiderate of you to group all people who commit suicide into one group and label them as ignorant.
