Can you edit your posts after making them? Maybe I'm just completely missing it, or maybe it isn't there?

There's a good reason why we don't have an 'edit post' button, too.
If we did, half of the users would go back and edit all their old posts to "LOL COCKS". Plus, it encourages people to edit before posting like you're supposed to do.

Well, this BBS was written from scratch (as far as I know), so it's not a "common forum".
People will most likely abuse an edit system in bad ways. (Revenge, deleting evidence, blanking out question threads that get answered so nobody with the same question can search for it, cock jokes...)
So, no. There is no post edit function for normal users and there probably will never be one.
