The Egyptians didn't know what the brain did, so they threw it away.

The egyptians thought it was just useless stuff to take up space. The ony use thaey could see for it was to stop thier eyes from falling into the backs of thier heads.

Egyptologyst people think that the pyramids were the way that the kings got to their heaven i think.
Anyway, what is the deal with people thinking that aliens helped with the pyramids and where did they get the idea from?

probably from the fact that the pyramids are so incredibly huge and well built, that it would have been almost impossible for the ancient egyptians to do it, even today it would not be too easy.
same i think goes for stonehenge...

But anyone who watches discovery channel as much as me would have to have seen atleast one show about the pyramids.
It took them nearly the kings whole life to make his tomb which i think is quite funny.

same i think goes for stonehenge...

I havent seen much about the stonehenge but i still dont get where the alien theory originated from.

I don't know why they would think it's an alien theory, they know where the block come from. They actually come from Wales, 200 miles away from where Stonehenge is built. They found a load of similer blocks at the bottom of the river Severn (The river that creates a border between Wales and England)

So they decided that it looks increasingly likely that as there are many different stinehenge type constructions all over Wales and indeen Britain, that the type of rock held some significence.

They also think that Stonehenge is a calender as the sun rises and sets inbetween the arches of certain types of srches depending on the month.

I guess this would of helped with the sacrifices that were taking place throughout the year.

hey guys, i have a crazy theory that ull all probably larf at but neva mind. its about all religions, and all the gods theyve had. scientists no that with the right technology, u can literally move atoms from one place to another, they just dont no how. so for instance, u cud grab the edge of ur window, and push it further across the wall, and the atoms that make up the wall can regoup aftewrwards, and they are certian that with the right technology u can do that. so if they can do that, technically they can move atoms in our body, which could make us younger, and make us healthier, and in theory make us live forever. some people beleive that if u use 100% of the potential of ur brain, u become psychic, meaning u can move things. what if god, and all the ancient nore, greek, egyptian and all other gods are just humans able to use 100% of the potentail of there brain. i no ull all probably larf at this theory, but i wanted 2 share it wiv u guys

The pyramids had a small hole drilled from the tomb to the outsside aimed at a constellation that they thought was heaven.

Are you sure? If it was a small hole it would have caved itself in over the 1000's of years and if it was a large hole then robbers could get in.

I don't know about atom-moving tech anytime in the near future. But I think that's what we need to say about the human brain... not that we don't use all of it, but that we don't use all of its potential. Thanks PSYCHO-CHIMP!!!!

I always thought that as humans evolved they had a need to explaine what they did not know so they proposed that a lot of it was created by some invisible force. Over time this became the 'truth' and the truth was believed by all. This to developed over time and became the religions we know today.

i'm with you on that one.
and whatever one person believes to be the truth, another may think of it as a pure lie. wich basically means that there is no "one truth". everything just depends on your point of view.

Yeah, well. A one truth doesn't exist. Maybe you're going for something like the Allegory of a Cave idea... where people chained to a wall in a cave perceive a truth... and even if they are released and shown something else they only believe in that truth. Maybe?

why thats insane and impossible, it took me over a year to figure out the right testicular fortitude for the magnification surplus to react the proper way to split the space time continuim and give me a chance to visit 1930... by the way, i killed my grandfather meaning Jesus will never be born...

i think i may have made a miscalculation somewhere

I would like to know...
1) What does vision have to do with testicular fortitude? Does it have something to do with you liking to watch people kick you in the nuts?
2) How did you split space/time fabric? Theoretically the only way to do that (as far as I know) is to create a black hole.
3) What does killing your grandfather in the 1930's have to do with Jesus being born?
4) Can you explain how multi-dimensional (universes, sorry if that's confusing) time exists/works? Because if you killed your grandfather you obviously couldn't exist in the same universe.

Uhm... yeah... thanks, that's it.

Because of branding. it would prob take Freeserve millions just to come up with a new name and people would still call it freeserve. So its best to keep the name and develop the brand.

Also see Nike, named after the Greek Goddess of victory, well they've lost a few court cases so should they still call themselves Nike?
