It's good man.. But the rose leafes look a little wierd without linework.. And I think the lines in the broken glasses should be less dark..

Well... I love Osamu Tezuka's comics. And among them, my favourite one is Black Jack. Next month the final volume of its complete edition will be published in Spain, so I'm really excited about it!
I'm still trying to find "my own" Black Jack, but I hope you like it.

ok anime isnt cool anymore i dont want to like piss evryone off but its getting old because i dont want the newgrounds art forum to turn into deviant art were evryone does nothing but post anime and furry pics onto their account. instead of using the same style evryone uses come up with your own style of art. you will get recognized more and i wont have to bitch and moan about evryone... but if you feel that you must post your anime just post it HERE and please keep it out of the art forum. or move to japan wichever one you like

Your OPINION is noted, however; if you don't like it you don't have to look at it, the thread is clearly titled "Anime" avoid it if it rubs you the wrong way. Let artists be artists, everyone is inspired by and aspires to many different things.

That wouldn't be out of place in the Bad Video Game Art contest, haha. The pose and anatomy need a bit of work, imo. I think you kind of lost the "fun" side of Mega Man's style, much like the American box art for the original two Mega Man games. But keep at it, improvement comes slowly but it does come. =]

Everyone starts somewhere. Anatomy is a bit all over the place, maybe you could try doing some more simple figures before adding all the bells and whistles (and locks and chains) .

Looks sharp, I wish you had some unlined paper to use, lol. Osamu Tezuka's works are amazing, I've been reading (and appreciating) Buddha (kind of got stuck on book 3, but I'm going to get back to it). Very few comic/manga artists have had such a profound (though sometimes underappreciated) influence on pop culture. It's good to see you still posting as well.

However, I know you're mistaken on the 'fun' style of the cover art of the original two Megaman games. I own both of them, and I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. If you're talking about the anime look of the Megaman, that didn't appear until Megaman 3.

Lol, I meant that the 'fun' anime look was not present in those pieces of box art. Sorry for the miscommunication.

YAY CypressDahlia your back!! and you still make me sad as ever TT___TT oh well. anyways GREAT ART (SNIFF SNIFF) anyways it brings me great joy to see this thread come outta the garbage being there so long... jezz you couldn't even get to it, i tried, at least i kept the link :). anyways ill try and keep this thread outta the garbage again... or not, i don't know video games are taking my life again and i have no school till i go to college in august. anyways besides that i dont have much to offer to the thread, and i still have not finished that pairing that my sis wanted me to draw (hits head in stupidy) but this old flash image i made for the year book back in school should suffice... for now. i dont think they put it in the year book due to the weapons in it or maybe they censored it with back boxs. damn you lack boxes you always ruin everything!!! oh well Keep on Posting!!! and i took a color quiz to see if i could decipher colors and stuff and i got the worst score!! makes me sad but makes sence why i cant color.
