Yeah, and I've never said this to anyone before, but I like to read the lyrics and all the little notes and whatnot and check out the pictures that come with the little booklet (pathetic, I know).

Yeah, the software is weird. For a week it didn't scrobble anything and it uninstalled itself. I reinstalled it and it works, but sometimes (like yesterday) it just won't work at all. It's kinda glitchy. Also, I think I listen to a lot more music than my profile protrays, and some statistics seem uncanny.

Interestingly, out of my top 20 albums on last.fm, I have several that I don't actually own on CD.

Meh, since I haven't been on for very long, my artists, songs and albums haven't separated very much. But in my top albums, I own all but 2 album in the top 10 albums (Paramore - Riot and The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper). In fact, I own a lot of the albums that have at least 2 plays, even though some of them are LPs.

Speaking of which, to start up some more discussion, how do you guys feel about LPs? Do you like them, hate them, feel indifferent towards them?

Personally, I like them. I like the sound they make; not so much the quality of the recording, but the way they play the record. Plus, I get excited when I find an old band that I like, but have almost no songs for on my computer, since I don't download music.

I used to have a vinyl player, but it broke. It's a shame, since my dad's got a killer vinyl collection (Who, Floyd, etc, etc)

My dad's gota killer vinyl collection too. Mostly underground Melbourne thrash bands from the eighties.

My dad just got a vinyl player last Christmas, and both my parents have great vinyl selection. Beatles; Who; Zepalan; Floyd; Journey; Asia; Genesis; Simon and Garfunkel; Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young; Van Halen, just to name a few.
