Woah, cool.

Your musical compatibility rating with Chucklebuck is:
Super. You share many artists in common, including Mindless Self Indulgence, Muse, Rammstein, Bloodhound Gang, and Pendulum.

I like your taste mate

Thank God.

So, to start off, what are some of the more obscure bands that you like? You don't need to post every band, just a couple favorites.

Armor For Sleep - Alternative Rock
From First To Last - Screamo
Paramore (although they are moving more mainstream) - Rock

Your musical compatibility rating with Chucklebuck is:

Very Low

You share a few artists in common, including Megadeth, My Chemical Romance, Bowling for Soup, Foo Fighters, and Avenged Sevenfold.

Too much pop-punk, I dare say.

I was under the impression that Paramore were sort of pop rock-y

Anyway

Die Apokalyptischen Reiter-Death Metal (Although becoming more melodic and thrashy as of late)
Axel Rudi Pell-Melodic Heavy Metal/European Power Metal
Mael Mordha-Celtic Doom Metal
Narnia-Christian Power Metal (Their keyboardist is insane)

How do you determine all these names for metal? Is it a superiority complex to not be related to regular metal?

That, and I'm being correct down to the last detail. I just hate it when people group it all as 'heavy metal' for some reason.

Alestorm - Fold Metal, used to be called Battleheart but changed their name when they got signed. There used to be demos available online, but they're not there anymore. Their first album is out next year.
The Tossers - Celtic Punk in the vain of The Pogues or Dropkick Murphys, probably leaning more towards Dropkicks.
Splen - Silly synth pop about silly things like Richard Branson and Pop Idol. All their stuff is free, available on www.splen.co.uk

Meh, I just threw it under "Rock", because I wasn't sure where to put them. They a little punk rock, a little pop rock, and a lot awesome

Meh, they are just starting to gain more popularity in the US. They're big, but if you asked some one in the street if they heard of "Paramore", chances are they'd say that "my slut of a sister"

Oh, forgot to add this to the above post, so sorry for the double.

2 more I remembered:

Mika (underground in America) - pop? Hard to classify
Crosby, Stills, Nash, and (sometimes) Young - Folk rock

I'm one of the most open-minded people when it comes to music. I mean, my AEP is 3.44. The only thing I don't like is country, and I'm sure most of the people here agree with that.

Choo choo, running past the last few pages fast.

that rhymes a bit...

Soo...

The gigs feature WOULD be great, if there were any gigs near me, at all 8the city has pretty much killed culture here), or if they'd actually mark up them. Or if the organisers bothered to advertise. The crew that hosts hip-hop gigs at least does a good job with that, just that they have trouble getting venues.

I was seriously pissed for missing Paprika Korps earlier this year because no-one bothered putting up any ads.

It feels wrong calling them punk, they sound too much like a hard rock band. But its not a bad thing.

By no means. But stuff like I'm a Rat and Kill the Pop Scene sound hella pnuk-ish.
