Since there are only like five listed I'm really hoping they announce some more in the future, because I'm not exactly excited to go to North Carolina for a single concert, even if it is NMH.
My plays from April, a grand total of 1,693.
Knife Party's Haunted House EP comes out in a few days. I wish they would release some more older material (namely Suffer or Zoology).
Other than that, got new material to work with; mostly Prodigy albums. Mainly excited to blast The Fat of the Land, heard that it was pretty good from a few folks I know.

I've never bothered to listen to any of their stuff. Are they worth a listen, or should I continue ignoring them out of lack of interest?

Probably shouldn't bother. They have like a few good songs across three albums and they're all on the first. I don't know why I like this song of theirs so much.
Also for some reason I listen to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis every morning. Am I gay?

their self titled is one of the best debuts ever

100+ songs in a week is a lot for many people, it's all relative, man. As for me, I mainly listen to songs on my iPod and to connect my iPod takes forever (so many USBs to connect).
1 - Siouxsie And The Banshees - 32
2 - Cure - 24
2 - Serge Gainsbourg - 24
4 - Venom - 23
5 - Bon Jovi - 14
6 - Church - 11
7 - Golden Earring - 9
8 - Angel Witch - 7
8 - Old Funeral - 7
10 - Beastie Boys - 4
11 - Cabaret Voltaire - 2
11 - Lou Reed - 2
11 - Clash - 2
11 - Einsturzende Neubauten - 2
11 - AC/DC - 2
Just decided to give Vampire Weekends' studio albums a try, because why not.
Their self titled was pretty decent, they had a few ideas in there that I liked but the songwriting and melodies weren't all that captivating to me. 6/10
Contra was entirely "meh"; I didn't enjoy the instrumentation on this one as much and the songwriting remained just as lackluster. 5/10
Modern Vampires of the City somehow had even less interesting structures and melodies than the last one, paired with some pretty flat production and instrumentation made for a fairly disappointing album, to be honest. 4/10
Probably won't end up listening to their stuff again for a good while, the only thing I fully enjoyed from them was the singer's voice and the sound of the cellos used on their self titled.

That's too bad. I guess its not for everyone, but their self-titled is still amazing in my eyes. MVotC is another one I can't stop listening to. I just love how their sound changes with each album, it's like I'm listening to an entirely new band.
Anyway, here's my week's charts
just hit 100,000 scribble-scrobbles.
idk how I only have like 500 songs in my library.

hell It must have been good the first time I've heard it, There was no immediate attention towards judgement however.

I wasn't really a big fan of the new Anamanaguchi, to be honest. For one, I think it was way too long for its own good. Power Supply was the perfect length for that style of music, by the time you're halfway through this one it just feels stale. Maybe that's just me, though. I tend to like my CRAZY LOUD UPBEAT TUNEZ in small doses.
So members of Sunn O))), Boris, and some less important bands have made a new album under the alias Ensemble Pearl. Listening to it now and it's great drone, lord knows how I only heard about this through a single post in a sharethread on moo, especially considering how beautiful an album Altar is.
