I do like different types of music, but now I don't listen to metal anymore, mostly because it just isn't me.

meh spotify does sound good but the thing is, when I put in some of my favourite monikers (the tuss, afx, polygon window) they don't have any results
sure its nice if you listen to quite mainstream stuff

There is some rarer stuff on there. I used to it to listen to Merzbow a lot (though admittedly only one album), and he's hardly mainstream.

So Beneath the Massacre is a pretty good band, no? I noticed that I have really cut down on playing music since the beginning of the year, but I think it's mostly due to school. Nothing else is new with me.
What I like to do with the majority of my time is: Shredding, Sketching, Sleeping. Thread for Rigz. Thread for Shredz.

I like BtM. Nice and noisy and chaotic :). Why aren't you a Metal Hell member?

I tried listening to stand-up comedy on last.fm, but it won't play properly. Does anybody know what's up with stand up?

They said I wasn't Metal. I'm still confused about that answer till this day.

Some of your bands might be pretty questionable or metal core, but you do have some nice metal bands in there (Necrophagist, Opeth).

I WIN I WIN I WIN
also like i thought it'd be, most varied charts i'll most likely ever have. HIP HOP? METAL? GRUNGE? CLASSIC ROCK?
It's indie rock 'n roll for me.

Heysátan for sure! Bum everyone out. Hoppípolla is too jolly :P.
I'd go for Saeglopur personally though.

Hahaha, I'd want Hoppipolla played if I actually did something good with my life. But yeah, Heysatan seems to fit the mood better.

I don't know what I'd want played at my funeral. I wouldn't object to Someone Great by LCD Soundsystem, but it'd just wind up being incredibly cliche, I mean a song about someone dying when someone dies?
Psssshaw
IDK
Maybe some Air or something.
Oh I really just don't know.

Instrumental/foreign language songs are best to play at funerals, imo. Then you wouldn't have the hassle of accidentally choosing ironic lyrics (ie Another Bites the Dust).

I'm not sure if I'd want Sigur Ros' gibberish though........ tbh I reckon Hoppipola'd be better without lyrics.
Yeah, maybe La Femme d'argent by Air. But then again perhaps Reckoner by Radiohead would be quite nice.

It's funny you say that, I learned in a CPR class that you're supposed to compress one's heart at 103 BPM, the exact same speed as Another One Bites The Dust.

Jonsi's voice is fucking beautiful though. I don't think I'd love them as much as I do if they were just simply instrumental :o

Glad to hear, haha. I've seriously gone super gay for them this week :P

You know what? Air is always great.
so is Sigur Rós.

Apart from Takk... I'm not actually that keen on Sigur Rós. Not based on what I've heard anyway. But Takk... is so lovely that I can happily justify love for them based on that one album.
And we all know The Final Countdown is ultimate funeral music.

Yeah, charts. Amon Tobin is sooooo incredibly sweet. As is Malmsteen, I really need more of him.

According to iTunes I've listened to all of Hvarf, 'Svefn-g-Englar' and 'Starálfur' from Ágætis Byrjun and then a few other tracks that were on this 'We Play Endlessly' thing I got free in the Guardian (UK Newspaper), I believe besides ones from Takk... I listened to 'Gobbledigook' and another (I think 'nní mér syngur vitleysingur') from the new album.
The stuff on Ágætis Byrjun sounds creepy and the songs from the new album just sound bad (or at least not to my tastes). I still need to get the album.
