those things on those flash tutorial website such as in This site where there is that thing above the tutorial and the URL is for the site and not the actual URL for the actual tutorial. Do you know what I'm talking about? anyway, what are they called and how do I make one?

Would you be talking about a hyperlink by any chance?
If so, they are very easy to do:

<a href = "www.somewebsite.com">Text to show up</a>

And Text to show up will be a hyperlink to www.somewebsite.com

Pretty sure he knows how to do that, since he did it in his post.

Do you mean URL redirection, like with Pixel2Life where the URL says something like "http://www.pixel2life.com/tutorials/cou nt/55444/advanced_hosting_plan_graphic/" but actually takes you to "http://www.artkit.org/?p=25?"
